It is a tight fit for the ARB twin but works great. Very high quality.

This is hands down the best place to mount an air compressor in a 5th gen 4runner. Clean and not even noticeable. Directions say to do it on the passenger side but the driver side is better and works just the same.

The DDI Mount worked flawlessly and the online videos were very helpful. I used the rubber grommet under the passenger floor mat to access the engine bay for power. Once installed the air compressor and under seat mount turned a previously unused space into probably one of the most impressive mods I have made to my 3rd Gen Tacoma. Do your research, take your time and be patient and the install will go smoothly. Once complete, your install will be super clean and add such a valuable capability to your truck! Way to go DDI!!!

I wanted to put a single arb compressor under the front passenger seat of my 5th gen 4Runner. The Desert Does It mount is a good option. I already had the seat jacketrs on the front of my seats. Making a spacer for the rear of the passenger seat was easy. Compressor mounted to the bracket without drilling and the switch and air hose connector are easily accessible. I would recommend this product for this purpose.

I had to admit there was some hesitancy wiring the compressor up, but with some patience and persistence I got it wired up and it's awesome. works like a charm and looks slick. Great product.

I got this to install an ARB air compressor underneath my passenger seat in my 2023 Tacoma. Fits and works PERFECTLY!!! Delivery was quick as well. I am extremely satisfied with my buying experience at Desert Does It!!!

Not a show stopper, but I had to use a heavy duty loctite to get the bulkhead fitting to seal. One of the mtg tabs on the bracket was bent and I had to bend it to get proper alignment with seat jackers.

I mounted an ARB 12V Twin Compressor under the driver seat (which is powered and heated) using this mounting bracket and the Seat Jacker Kit. After researching that this option may not be possible, I was determined to get it to fit. I ended up with 1-1/2" shimming in rear (thinnest shim not used) for minimal clearance with the powered seat in the lowest most bottom position. The seat is able to move Forward/Back and Tilts Forward and/or Back on the Slide Tracks. The wire connection harnesses located at the front of the seat (mounted to the Front Metal Guard Bracket) were relocated toward the rear of the seat as best as I could tuck them away after reconnection. The Seat Heater Module was also removed and tucked away near its original location. I bent the mounting tab a little for this module to help ensure its clearance. While checking for this clearance, I noticed my only concern regarding this install...

The ONLY ISSUE that I found is that the Front Metal Guard that protects the Seat Adjustment Driveshaft, and where the Wire Harnesses and Seat Heater Module were mounted, * WILL MAKE CONTACT * with the ARB Twin Compressor if the seat is adjusted back too far. For me at 5'-9", this is not really an issue but the clearance is <1" so there is not much room for adjustment. Along with the loss of leg room between the seat and the steering wheel, this mounting option may not be the best fit for all.

I used all the rear seat jackers and the wires under the passenger seat still did not clear the arb twin air compressor in my 2022 Tacoma. I ended up having to use the smaller rear jacker in the front and finagle all of the wires under the seat to barely be able to make it work. Would recommend just getting the single arb if you want to put it under the seat.

Great item. It’s nice to be able to mount expensive ARB air compressor in tie cab as opposed to under the hood or in the bed, to protect from the elements of the off-road. Also very space conservative! Just fantastic!

Best mount on the market for on board compressor!!!

Utilized for an ARB twin compressor in a 3rd Gen Tacoma. So your results may vary. Good build quality and easy to figure out. My one criticism is that it is an extremely tight fit with the ARB twin even after rearranging the factor under seat wiring. You still have to be very careful sliding the seat forward and back to avoid pulling out the air line from the compressor to the DDI mounted hose connection.

Really cool product really just what I needed to complete my custom work build

Just installed the under seat compressor bracket using a ARB twin compressor unit in a 2011 FJ Cruiser, fits like a glove highly recommended if thinking of doing the same to your vehicle. Well made product doesn’t what it says it does. I don’t normally give feedback on items i have brought or used as a general rule but in this instance i am more than happy to give positive feedback on item.

Fits great and look good. Mount is well built, I added a pressure gauge and Schrader valve on the side of mount for my air bags.

I'm 6' tall. With everything installed the pump almost hits the components on an electric seat. The seat jackers installed and my seat set as low as possible, I barely clear the ceiling. I plan on removing the bracket and putting it under the hood, mad i didn't do that to begin with.

Peeps this thing is dope! Best concept in a long time. Inside the cab, clean, outta the way, functional, a lot less maintenance than other mounted areas. If a deal breaker is having the door open while in use, there’s other options, up through the window, out the back window, add in other air line drops. Fully back up this design and concept. Think anyone who has interests of off-roading and overlanding or even going out to the beaches and dunes should take a hard look at this product. It’s quality.
