This mount is made well, however your oem trim needs to be cut or removed. I sent an email specifically inquiring about this question and they mistakenly told me no cutting or modification needed. This is inaccurate, I then called them on the error and they stated on some interior packages. Um, no, all chevy and gmc vehicles have plastic caps where this mount goes. So basically you need to modify your oem plastic, period. Having said all that the mount is solid, and made extremely well. Perhaps they can be more forward with the installation process with chevy and gmc owners.

I installed the front jackers first and immediately noticed an improvement in ride comfort, control and visibility. After about 50 miles of just the front jackers, I installed the rear lift first at 1/4 inch and then switched to the 1/2 inch lift where it is now. The visibility improved without loosing too much support under the front of the thighs. I have not taken my FJ on a long (10+ hours) trip yet, but plan to in the near future. Hopefully, the overall lift will greatly improve my comfort. So far my driving has been around town and I really like the added comfort and visibility. It feels like the driver is much more locked in the seat and "one with the vehicle".
This product appears to be made well but does not fit the "j" slots as well as the stock brackets.
Also only raising the front of the seat doesn't do much for overall visibility.
