Seat risers or Seat Jackers are accessories that lift and add height to vehicle seats to provide greater comfort and support. They slide under the legs of a seat to raise it higher off the floor.
Benefits include enhanced posture, reduced lower back pain, improved leg circulation, easier entry/exit of the vehicle, and better line of sight while driving.
Most seat risers add .3 to 1.25 inches of extra height.
Seat Jackers are available for most mainstream truck and car makes and models. Desert Does It offers seat risers specifically designed to fit popular vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Subaru and more.
Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.
When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.
Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.
Never realized how tired my legs actually got after driving for over an hour in my Tacoma. I got the Seat Jackers after seeing a lot of recommendations, I decided to pull the trigger and get these for a big road trip coming up. To my surprise, this was the most comfortable and pain free trip I have ever had. If you are on the fence about these, DO IT!! You will not regret it. Thanks Desert Does It!!
If you only do one thing to your Tacoma, installing seat jackerz should be it. Huge difference!! It puts seat positioning very similar to a 2018 718 cayman.

Love my '21 Taco SX, but my legs and knees hated the factory seat posture. Saw a vid about these and wow, what a difference. I installed both front and back, if it were any easier, they would come factory installed. Noticed immediately that the front jackers alone added support and increased comfort. Playing with the total height of the rear jackers before I use the blue screw glue and torque wrench...I think that really the only issue there is getting used to the front view out the windshield. I am 6 ft, 32" inseam. I have not gone offroading yet but it seems that the rear jackers do not 'solve' any issue of viewing obstacles over the hood...I believe that will come, more or less, with care and time on the trail. If you're not 100% comfortable in the factory Taco seat, I highly recommend this product. And built in USA Hallelujah!!
I was skeptical at first, curious if this could really improve the notoriously uncomfortable Tacoma seats. I can say with 100% surety these seat jackers are the solution!! Night and day difference for me. I’m 6’2 and love the new seating position. Completely changes ride comfort. I did not lose any head space. I now sit in a more comfortable and reclined position and do not need to have my seat all the way back. Great solution! Easy install. I’ll purchase more for passenger side now.
I heard from my buddy I should look into the seat jackers so I did some research and finally decided to purchase and now all I say is I should of bought these as SOONER!
These seat jackers are great finally give me the lower thigh support that the Tacoma lacks! Feels nice to sit back and feel more relaxed position and have support under instead of hovering and trying to keep your legs floating with nothing to cradle. I highly recommend these and love the way they work! Thank you guy!
I wasn’t sure about these, but reading the reviews on here and other sites I was convinced to give them a try. I have a 2020 Tacoma I’ve had over a year and found seats uncomfortable. I installed these, adjusted to my liking and I really like positioning of my legs much better now.
Received the kit well packaged with brackets, hardware, sticker in each set and a lemon drop sealed candy as an extra bonus (my favorite).
The instructions were easy to read and precise. Ive driven a few 100 miles and really like the position of the seat. A simple upgrade with Quality parts. I recommend 100%. Thank you!
I found these on-line and thought to myself, that might make the seat tilt up for me like I would prefer. I remember thinking it was pretty expensive for a couple of blocks, but I thought, I can't make the same thing without significant work and even if I designed my own and had them cut it would likely cost more. So I got a pair for my drivers seat, and oh man! It's exactly the right thing. I am 6' 1" and have a 35in inseam, and this change *really* makes the seat significantly better! Very, very happy with these in my truck - totally worth the cost!! Also, a very high quality product. Very well made.
Simple as it can be ! Took me 20 mins to install the two sets of risers on the driver / passenger seat and the difference is noticed immediately! Yes, you don't need them but echoing everyone's review that this is a must for your Tacoma if want some extra support and comfort. Great product and addition!
Finally have a moment to leave some feedback. two weeks ago mine came in. I read many of the reviews, I was sold, but not 100% sure how this little adjustment could make any difference. Gang! Let me tell you how awesome, how cool just by doing this what a improvement on the ride.

Super easy 5 minute install per side. HUGE difference in comfort. I’m 6’0 and these make a world of difference!
3 weeks ago I made a 4 hour trip in my stock Tacoma. By the time I got there my legs were basically numb. I ordered these the next day. When they arrived I started the install. I found that 2 of the bolts in the package were wrong. I emailed DDI on the weekend thinking they would get back to me the next week. I was wrong, the next day(Sunday) I got a reply. Sent a picture of the bolts that wouldn't work and they said they would get the correct ones sent right away. I received the new bolts within 4 days. I made the same trip again this weekend and I am amazed at the difference. No numbness at all. All I can say is DDI is an amazing company with excellent customer service and an excellent product. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THESE!
I have got to admit I didn't think these would much. I was very wrong! These almost make the seat feel like a comfy recliner. Certainly a game changer for me. I also got the MMP for them and now I have a great place to mount my Maglite.
This mod is definitely a life changer. I’m 6’3 and the moment I went on a 5 hour trip I knew the Tacoma’s seating position was horrible. So I purchased these and it did make it a lot better. My legs feel like they have more room. It is a little bit overpriced but when I started installing them I can tell they were made with high quality stuff.

2018 Tacoma TRD Sport
The install was simple, took about 20 minutes, but he results will be felt for the lifetime of the truck. I spent 8 years being uncomfortable on long rides (over 90 minutes) and now there is no lower back or leg pain after 5 plus hours in the truck. I wish I had purchased these Seat Jackers years ago. If you are on the fence, DO NOT WAIT!
Who would think that such a small rise in the seat height would make such a difference in the ride quality. My lower back isn’t barking at me anymore. Great product and super easy to install.
This is where I got my first front seat jackers for my RAV4 and that why I came back to buy my Tacoma some , I buy quality, not garbage like other brands. I know these will last a long time that’s what I love about it.

I liked the change in how the seats felt as soon as the install was finished. I'll be ordering another for the passenger side.
