Seat risers or Seat Jackers are accessories that lift and add height to vehicle seats to provide greater comfort and support. They slide under the legs of a seat to raise it higher off the floor.
Benefits include enhanced posture, reduced lower back pain, improved leg circulation, easier entry/exit of the vehicle, and better line of sight while driving.
Most seat risers add .3 to 1.25 inches of extra height.
Seat Jackers are available for most mainstream truck and car makes and models. Desert Does It offers seat risers specifically designed to fit popular vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Subaru and more.
Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.
When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.
Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.
Like the other review, I own a 2019 F350 XLT. I pull a camper and equipment trailers cross country. I'm 6'4" tall with a 36" inseam. I remember when I bought my truck thinking "I wish the seats were a little better". Ford electric powered seats are adjustable, but not enough to suit me. A comfortable seat supports your thighs underneath and the effect is immediate. Such comfort is appreciated on long drives.
PROs: I used two seat jackers to elevate my seat 3/4". It was perfect! Seat jackers improve the comfort of the seat tremendously. I now have the comfort of Lariat seats at the XLT price.
CONs:
1. A minor complaint on directions. I'm a visual learner. The instructions for installation are minimal. I few pictures or video would have made it much simpler.
2. I tried using all three seat jackers but 1.25" elevation was too much. If you use all three wedges, the 50mm bolts are too short. Two wedges gave 3/4" lift which was perfect for me. Factory bolts extends by 15+mm. I would use 60 mm bolts with 2 or more wedges for peace of mind.
Seat Jackers, to include the booster kit are perfect for giving the right amount of boost.. If you’re constantly trying to look over the front of your truck, give these a try! I bought three sets so far, a set for my F350, F150, and Silverado.. Give them a try, You won’t be disappointed.
Ordered a set of these a few weeks ago… received them pretty quickly (2 or 3 days, don’t remember exactly), and installed them that evening. Since my XLT trim truck only has the 4-way adjustable seat, I decided to use both spacers on each side. Even with no help to hold the seat up, it was a pretty simple job… only taking about 20 minutes total. Have been driving the truck for a few days now with them installed, and can definitely state they make a difference. Not sure if upper trim-level owners, with the better seats need them… but if you’re driving an XLT or maybe one of those base-level XL fleet trucks for long distances, you’ll definitely enjoy a more comfortable ride after installing these puppies.

Install was a breeze and they improved the seating like they did in my Tacoma.
Felt an immediate change to the ride position after installation. A completely positive change to riding position. Highly recommend adding this extremely easy upgrade to your ride.
After installing a seat jacker kit into my Jeep, I had to order a set for my 2017 F-250. I have the adjustable driver's seat, but the drop still wasn't enough for a completely comfortable ride. This kit installed easily and after trying out all 3 levels of adjustments, I settled on the tallest option (6'-4"). It made a significant difference in comfort and being able to sit "into" the seat helped tremendously with relieving lower back pain.

I used the full set on my 2022 f250. I’m 6’5” 250 lbs. these are really a great improvement over stock seat heighth/angle. More room for my legs, especially after just having knee surgery. Super product.
Price too high for the product……..also bought kit for my ‘22 Wrangler at the same time. Jeep kit was specially machined spacers and bolts, $10 more. F250 kit was basically bolts and spacer/washers. Hardware store stuff.
Game changer, period. Easy install and the new seating position is fantastic. Great product!
These things are awesome. Whole new feel to the seats. I now am firmly esconsced in the seat and because of this the lumbar support is improved.
The heating and cooling of this seat also is better cause I'm actually making full contact with the seat.
The quality is superb and easy to install.
There were many things to like about my F350. The seats were not among them. The stock seats were the most uncomfortable seats I have experienced after owning more then a 100 vehicles. Hard to believe in an $80,000 truck. The Seat Jackers were expensive but worth a try. They transformed the comfort level. I did both front seats (both were powered and multi-adjustable). The difference was amazing. Even my wife commented on the improvement. I can live with the truck now and look forward to longer trips. On another note, some incorrect bolts were shipped with the order and after contacting Desert Does It they sent the new bolts via courier (and I’m in Canada) - THANKS Deric. That was great service (quite rare these days).
I need both the front and the rear of the seat jacked up. Do you have a kit for that?
