Seat risers or Seat Jackers are accessories that lift and add height to vehicle seats to provide greater comfort and support. They slide under the legs of a seat to raise it higher off the floor.
Benefits include enhanced posture, reduced lower back pain, improved leg circulation, easier entry/exit of the vehicle, and better line of sight while driving.
Most seat risers add .3 to 1.25 inches of extra height.
Seat Jackers are available for most mainstream truck and car makes and models. Desert Does It offers seat risers specifically designed to fit popular vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Subaru and more.
Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.
When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.
Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.

Driving my Jeep is so much more comfortable. My seat is actually one notch forward of where it was at fully back. My thighs are supported, and my knees are at comfortable angles now. I wish I'd know about these sooner!
OUTSTANDING product and service! I just received and installed the original Seat Jackers (non-adjustable). I'm 6'1" with fairly long legs and they are perfect! The product is beautifully made, packaged very well and shipped/ arrived very fast. Installation was about as easy as you could hope for given the realities of the locations. I'd had previously used 4 washers and a large nut to simulate the same result but this works much better. Bravo. Thank you Steve and Desertdoesit!
I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator with leather seats and have been miserable driving it, even for short distances my legs were killing me. The driver seat was definitely not designed with tall people in mind. The seat base does not have a tilt feature so with my foot on the gas pedal I was basically sitting on my tailbone with no support for my leg. The seat jackers solved this problem by lifting the front of the seat base and providing support for my legs. Super easy to install, took only about 15 minutes, and made all the difference in the world in my driving comfort.
I have purchased 5 sets of the seat jackers over the years and obviously they all the difference in a comfortable ride in your vehicle. I just can't believe a little raise in the front of the seat can make such a big difference. I had back problems and these are the answer whether short trips or long. Fits great and moved the front of the seat up and back giving me plenty of leg room and way comfortable now. Im 6’2” and the jl’s are build for midgets

I’m 6’3”, 280lbs, and as much as I love my Jeep, the seats have just never felt right. I’ve had to add a seat extension pad to better support my lower thigh, it was ANNOYING. Not anymore!!! The Fixed Front Seat Jacker perfectly pushes me into the seat back, providing maximum support and comfort! Great job, great product! Installation was a breeze.
Installed the front seat jackers on my Gladiator and liked them but didn't realize how much. Drove my wife's Wrangler and felt like I was sliding forward. Ordered a second set to install on her Wrangler and she loves it! COMFORT!

After I finally figured out how to install this, and sat in my seat for the first time, unbelievable how amazing this is. Dramatic difference and makes a huge difference. Installed in our Jeep wrangler and gmc sierra! A must have mod for sure!! Not sure why I waited so long.

It took me a few days to get comfortable with the difference after installing the fixed (1.25") front seat jackers. Between the difference in seat height and having the seat closer to the steering wheel, which meant hitting my knees on the panel, it felt very weird. I'm 6'2" with a 33" inseam and, in hindsight, the shorty version may have been the better choice (as they recommend). That said, I've recalibrated now and I really like the adjusted seat angle.
The pieces look and feel very heavy duty. Install was relatively easy, had to do some trial and error to figure out the right seat position to get the final transmission side bolt started.
Purchased front seat jackers for my Gladiator. I’m 6’3” and the stock seats were less than comfortable. Read several reviews about these jackers and thought I would try them. Great packaging and easy to follow online instructions. What a difference in driver and passenger comfort. Will be recommending these to all my tall friends!! Thanks for a great product!!
but, after the 10 minute installation I was blown away by how much the seat comfort has improved.
Man what a difference. Like a new seat. More comfortable by far. Im only 5’6 but im short wasted so the extra height is awesome will never have another jeep without them. Not just for tall people. Buy them now don’t wait.
I bought the inch of a quarter so it jacked the seat up quite a bit… my legs feel more supported, but I have not made a long trip made any difference in comfort… only time will tell…
Seriously the best thing for any vehicle. You don’t realize how uncomfortable things are until you sit in a vehicle with these seat jackers. Seriously try it!
Returning 1.25 for .75 in gladiator - great service
My Jeep is a manual transmission and I felt like my thighs weren't well supported, especially on longer drives. After installing, I had to scoot the seat up a click or two. Plus, I really fit quite a bit better behind the wheel.
Install definitely works better when you really loosen the rear bolts, or even completely remove them. The front side closest to the transfer case can benefit from an extension bar, too. But, install is really a breeze. Don't forget to use the thread locker!!!
For reference, I'm 6'2" tall and have a 32-34" inseam. I got the full height 1.25" seat jackers setup. Thinking back, I probably could've gotten away with the 0.75" seat jackers to work better for me, as well as my girlfriend for when she drives. However, I'm sure she can adapt, if needed. I love the fit and now I feel like my seats are molding perfectly for my comfort.
The seat jackers for the jeep wrangler made the vehicle more fun to drive. No more struggling on long rides to be comfortable.
Adding the seat lifts to my jeep JL made a very big difference in long-term driving comfort. The seat now supports the back of my thighs.
Everything was packaged well, and the instructions were very clear. Very easy to do on your own and well worth the expense.
Installed on drivers seat in no time, completely changed the comfort level for me, no more numb legs after a drive, should have bought them for both seats. Will order for passenger side soon
I'm 6'2" and always had my knee resting on the t-case shifter. Now I can sit comfortably with my legs straight

really hard to believe how much of a difference these will make until you install them and try it out. I would normally start feeling sore after a few hours of driving. But these lifters made a huge difference during my last trip, I was able to keep driving longer than before and when I stopped for gas my legs or back did not feel stiff. so glad I did this upgrade and will recommend it to everyone.
Purchased for a long road trip and I would buy it again. WAY MORE COMFORTABLE. I'm 6'-2" and it created so much leg room I actually moved my seat up a hair from the furthest back position for the first time in my Gladiator. It's worth the money, wish I bought the front seat set instead of the single.
My wife and I are kinda tall so we went with the 1.25” on the drivers side of both our jeeps. Ended up being a bit too tall for her so I moved them over to the passenger side and ordered the .75” for her driver side. Now I need another one to duplicate it on my jeep.
I want to start out with a positive. I LOVE this addition to the Jeep. I am 5’10” and have longer legs. I really like the driving position. The not so positive; my wife is 5’6” and has shorter legs. She has a really difficult time getting into the Jeep because she has to have the steering wheel so close. I was forced to remove them in lieu of arguing. I wish that they had a set that was half the height.
