Seat Jacker + MMP + Medium Fire Extinguisher mount works on a JL or JT if you mount the QDM bracket half an inch away from the end of the bracket on the door side - will still let a 2lb Kidde [KD57-5BC] mount and quick drop feature still work as well as being able to reach the seat adjust handle.

[Only note I have on the Instructions you get from the QR code would be to bullet point near the top somewhere which size of Metric Allen bit you need for the three different fasteners - 2.5mm, 4mm, and 5mm IIRC. ]

Ideal accessory for my Tacoma. Fits snug and also looks great.

I'm not new to Desert Does It products. I have Seat Jackers, an MMP, and a fire extinguisher mount in my Tacoma. So, I invested in an MMP and extinguisher mount for my Wrangler JKU. It's rock-solid, looks great, works perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. The engineering is solid, and the quality is everything I want and expect.

This is the best combination for mounting a fire extinguisher on a gen 5 4runner that I could find. Installation was easy. The only tricky part was cutting the OEM plastic trim pieces that snap over the front seat mounting brackets to accommodate the bracket. All in all it is a nice clean installation and puts the fire extinguisher where you can get to it quickly.

Install is super easy

First up I have to admit I had been looking at this fire extinguisher mount for a long time (years). I'm being honest here and I was hesitant due to the price. Here I am several years later wishing I had taken the leap a long time ago. The quality and craftsmanship of the fire extinguisher mount is amongst the best. You've heard the phrase, "you get what you pay for".... and "buy once cry once". I can hands down confirm you do get what you pay for and while the price is high, I'm more than happy with my purchase. Take the leap.

My 2010 Tacoma access cab has very limited storage space which is why I decided to go with this product. I was a bit worried that it was going to take up a lot of leg room and I was going to kick the fire extinguisher, but everything works together seamlessly (seat jackets, multi mount panel, and drop mount) to tuck your fire extinguisher away under your legs. Additionally, it is very well machined and even the packaging it comes in is extremely sturdy!

A little pricey but does the job very well, holds extinguisher, securely, and out-of-the-way.

Received Extinguisher breaker very quick, and didn't realize I needed a Multi Mount Bracket also. Called and was helped. Received the Multi Mount Bracket in just a couple of days. Everything fit PERFECT. Within 30 minutes had the full install done in my 2012 Tacoma and couldn't be happier!

I'd been wanting to mount my auto/boat fire extinguisher so it'd be more accessible in case of an emergency, and this mount is the ticket. I already had the molle panels installed in my Tacoma and bolting the extinguisher mount took only a few minutes. I added some blue Loctite for extra security and after several weeks everything is good. Hopefully I'll never need to use my extinguisher but it's nice to know it's secure and easily accessible.

I bought seat jackers and fire extinguisher mounts for both sides of my Tacoma and I loved them so much I put one in my wife’s Durango. She loves having one also. Great mount for a piece of equipment we hope to never need. Holds the extinguisher securely and out of the way yet easy to retrieve.

I’m sure it wasn’t originally intended for this, but I put mine in my Porsche 911SC. I have a fire extinguisher that I like but couldn’t find a mount that worked for my needs. It took a little rigging to get it to work with the under seat mount that I already had for my car (no fault of the DDI mount, just holes in different places). This was just the solution I was looking for. Simple, and looks great.

I utilized this Extinguisher mount in my C7 Z06. I purchased a bracket made to carry an extinguisher that attached to the seat. Drilled new holes for the DDI mount and reinstalled the seat. Works great and looks sano and trick.

I love the simplicity of the design. No funky latches etc.
