Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.

Are seat risers safe?

When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.

What are the holes in the front of the Front Seat Jacker?

Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.

Seat jackers for 2016 Subaru Impreza

There were no listing for my specific year of Subaru Impreza. Deric from Desertdoesit researched and found two products that wound fit my car. When I received my seat jackers I found them to be well made and after thoroughly reading the instructions and watching a you tube video I installed them with the help of my wife assisting with angling the seat back. Driving for about a week and my back feels a lot better. Great product also got a sticker decal and a lemon head candy.

If you are in pain, DO IT! 2009 Subaru Forester

I tried almost everything else without success, so naturally I had my doubts. My husband even said, "they only boost an inch, how much could that possibly help?" But it really has been a night and day difference like other reviewers have said. I went for an all-day road trip the day after the front jackers were installed, and for the first time in ten years, I did not suffer from debilitating back pain during the trip and for days afterwards. I also noticed that my body is more stable in my stock seat during turns and bumps that were previously felt more sharply right up my spine. I have lots of problems in my SI joints and L4-S1 discs. It feels like the jackers took the pressure off these areas. Since installing them, I haven't experienced the overwhelming radiculopathy while driving that I always used to get after 30+ minutes behind the wheel. I am so grateful for the massive reduction in pain. The quality of life improvement has been priceless for me. I am also happy to see that Desert Does It makes the jackers for lots of makes and models, so I will be covered and be able to get more when I eventually need a new car. Thank you so, so much for this wonderful product! You've been able to solve a pain issue for me that doctors and PTs could not.

Will this work to lift the rear of the drivers seat in a 2014 Subaru Impreza?

Desert Does It

Subaru had two different designs for how the rear of the seat mounted. If the rear of your seat mounts on the same angle as the front of the seat, then yes, our Front Seat Jackers should fit. If one leg mounts flat while the other is on an angle, we don't have a soltution for that yet. Hope that helps,

I have a 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX and would like to raise the entire seat, not just the front. Is it possible to do that? Would two sets of seat jackers work?

Most likely they are different, but I replied to your email to see if you can send us some photos of how the seat bolts down. Then we can confirm whether we have somehting that will work or not. I'm betting we have something that would work.
