Seat risers or Seat Jackers are accessories that lift and add height to vehicle seats to provide greater comfort and support. They slide under the legs of a seat to raise it higher off the floor.
Benefits include enhanced posture, reduced lower back pain, improved leg circulation, easier entry/exit of the vehicle, and better line of sight while driving.
Most seat risers add .3 to 1.25 inches of extra height.
Seat Jackers are available for most mainstream truck and car makes and models. Desert Does It offers seat risers specifically designed to fit popular vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Subaru and more.
Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.
When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.
Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.
I bought this mount for my 2020 Forester. The quality of the product is great and it's easy to install. However, I found that for my needs the provided mounts don't really fit the bill. I think this product appeals to many folk who spend a lot of time outdoors, and so they likely have Husky or Weathertech floor liners to catch all the muck they will inevitably drag in. These liners would need to be notched in order to use the DDI mounts to the seat floor bolts. That kind of defeats the purpose of those floor liners, in my mind. Also, removing those liners for cleaning becomes more challenging. So after a bit of thinking and analysis, I made a set of brackets from straight aluminum and attached the molle directly to the seat. Now everything moves together with the seat, so it doesn't matter how tall you are, and it's easy to pull the floor liners out. It does exactly what I need it to do and offers some flexibility in height since I can flip it up or down.
A slight snafu with the mounts on the original order was handled quickly and got me the correct parts in no time. Mounting and install is super easy (though, you need a 12mm socket and not 14mm to remove the factory seat frame bolts). Got it in the car in less than 15 minutes and it's ready for my multi tool sheaths and everything else. FWIW, if you are using Weathertech laser floormats, they will need to be trimmed to clear the new mounts.

Does require a few tweaks, typical fabric molle accessories required some "gentle" beating to force the straps through due to metal buttons used to lock them. Also the panel sit a lil too high for the seat to go fully forward. Not great for an unsuspecting driver to your car. My bent a lil after a friend adjusted the seat but just hammered back into place. BUT!! Once you do get your accessories in place, its an awesome addition. Easy access to anything you can mount. Already have another in my cart for the passenger side.
The quality is excellent. Installation is very simple. The biggest problem with these is the top edge of the panel hits the seat frame and will break something if adjusted too far forward. I’m 5’-10” and the seat frame is just about to touch the panel. If my wife, that is much shorter, moves the seat forward, it will break the Molle panel or plastic molding of seat frame. Didn’t the designers try moving the seat in its full range of motion? This is not compatible with the newer Gen 6 Outbacks (2020-2025).
The slits are also too slim for most Molle strap systems with any form of clip or snap.
Well I have no idea what to say, I say fantastic.
The MMP is a great addition to the car. It allows me to mount a small EDC bag, flashlight and pocket knife. I also got the right angle mount which will allow me to mount my gun/holster. Everything I need is within grabbing distance. Very happy with the purchase.
The mount is priced a bit high. The slots are quite narrow and the molle mount 32oz H2O bottle won’t actually mount because of the snap not fitting through the bracket. The bracket also sits quite low to the floor of the vehicle as well and may not have enough clearance to run whatever accessories you’d like to mount to the bracket.
It is made well and it seems quite sturdy. Fit and finish are quite nice.

When looking at any product its easy to forget the costs of prototyping, testing, insurance, fabrication, powder coating, packing, shipping, inventory, marketing, website, and customer service that goes into each product. We sell solutions that are custom built for each vehicle, most of our products only fit the designated vehicle.
Regarding the slot sizes, the unique honeycomb pattern allows the customer to strap around the panel. We do try to accommodate as many accessories types as possible.
Because the products have to be compatible with manual seats, power seats, and retain full seat movement, we do have to hug the floor. If we didn't, access to the manual seat controls and forward movement would be impacted. Space is limited but we believe our MMP provides a nice place to mount smaller items and stay organized.

Needed the product relatively quickly. Spoke to them on the phone, they went above and beyond to make sure my product would arrive on time. I will absolutely be a repeat customer and can't recommend enough!
Highly recommend, I have an element fire extinguisher and a leatherman. Doesn’t make it a little difficult to get the all weather mats out of the 2021 Forester but it’s a small price to pay to have these Molle panels mounts in arms reach for gear.
I ordered this for a 2021 Forester and ordered the 3" capacity fire extinguisher mount set. Doing so left me with only one option in fitting this. Customers should NOT order one of these if they need to fit anything larger than the smallest fire extinguisher mount set. In the 2021 Forester the panel ends up quite close to the floor. I had to offset the fire extinguisher mount offset upwards on the panel in order to accommodate the 3" fire extinguisher mount. For a total spent of $200 I don't think it is too much to ask that the panel be listed with a precaution against ordering anything but the small fire extinguisher mount set. Overall and considering the price I feel meh about this setup. I will have to trim my Subaru rubber floor mats to suit.
I was wondering if this will fit my 2025 Crosstrek wilderness without needing to jack up the front of my seats using one of your other products?
We don't unfortunately, but you can use just one of the Seat Jacker shims which will only raise the seat .5".
Will this fit the Crosstrek 2025 (non-wilderness)?
This will not, but I emailed you the link to our Seat Jackers which has the optional MMP in the options drop down menu.
Will this fit with seat adjustment bar?
Our panel is designed to not interfere with the seat adjustment bar so you are good to go.
Is this multi mount panel for 2022 Subaru Outback compatible with the seat jackers installed?
You can. You will use the hardware provided with the MMP brackets to attach the brackets through the seat leg and into the Seat Jackers.
