Before You Start

• Tools needed: Socket set, hex/Allen key, and trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver.

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, always start bolts by hand and ensure they thread smoothly before tightening.

Step One — Remove Trim

If applicable, remove any plastic trim pieces at the seat base using a pry tool or screwdriver.

Step Two — Remove Front Bolts

• Slide the seat all the way back.
• Remove both front factory seat base bolts.

Step Three — Attach Panel to Brackets

Using the provided stainless steel hardware, loosely attach the Panel to the MMP Brackets.

Do not fully tighten the panel hardware at this stage.

Step Four — Install Brackets

Apply Blue Loctite to the provided black socket-head bolts.

Thread the bolts through the MMP Brackets, through the seat rail, and into the vehicle floor.

Start all bolts by hand and leave them slightly loose to allow for final alignment.

Step Five — Align and Torque

Align the Panel and MMP Brackets as needed.

• Black socket-head bolts: Torque to 30ft-lbs.
• Stainless steel panel bolts: Torque to 15ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify the Panel and MMP Brackets are properly aligned.
• Confirm all bolts are torqued to specification.
• Check that the Panel is secure before use.
• Recheck bolt torque after a few days of driving.
