How do you install seat risers or Seat Jackers?

Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.

Are seat risers safe?

When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.

What are the holes in the front of the Front Seat Jacker?

Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.

Best part I've found.

Thank you for making these seat jackers. Best upgrade I've ever found,, being a tall guy with long legs, these make the comfort so much better than stock. I don't have leg discomfort and don't continually readjust my seat. Even long drives are now a pleasure, try a set for whatever you drive, you will not regret it!

I’m trying to work out whether these car seat risers would be useful for me. I’m short and would like to sit a bit higher to have a better view whilst driving. But I’m wondering whether I’ll still be sitting close enough to the front, or whether the backrest will tilt too far backwards. My car is a Toyota Corolla.

Desert Does It

I would recommend raising either just the rear of the seat or both the front and rear of the seat. We haven't looked at how the rear of those seats bolt down so if you could send us some photos of how the rear bolts down to info@desertdoesit.com we can better assist you.

I see that you have the raiders for a Kia Telluride. I was wondering if you have any brackets that extend the seat back more? I saw a company out of MA, I believe, that has these long brackets that adds up to 3 inches, bit I can't quite understand if they will work on my car. I have a bad back so getting on the ground to take the seat apart to measure the holes is a difficult job. I have a friend who can help me install these brackets, but I have to wait until he and his wife are visiting. Any information about brackets that help extend the seat back more would be helpful.

Unfortunately our products are only designed to raise the seat so they will recline the seat which may give you the feeling of a little more leg room.

I am trying to lift the passenger seat in a 2023 Sante fe in your description it say they will lift front and/or rear of the seat. one of your pictures show 2 lift spaces and another picture shows 4 spacers. Does the kit come with 2 or 4 and can you lift both front and rear of the seat?

Desert Does It

They're designed for the front of the seat so the two sets would be for the driver and passenger. However, I believe the rear of the seat bolts down on the same angle so you could go with two sets, one for the front and one for the rear.
