Installation Instructions:
General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole.
Step One: Remove any plastic trim at the feet of your seat or lift the cap that’s covering the bolt. Remove both front factory seat base bolts and loosen the two rear seat bolts but do not remove them.
Step Two: Lift the front seat by pushing back on the headrest or by asking a helper to pull from the back seat.
Step Three: Take the shim with one counter sunk hole and the two threaded holes and the M10 1.25 x 30mm Flange bolts provided and attach it to the floor using the provided Blue Loctite. The rounded edges will face forward. Torque these bolts to 30ft-lbs. (Reference pictures below).
Step Three: ¾ Inch Lift/ Two Seat Jacker Shims - Take the shim with “Seat Jacker engraved on it and two of the four provided M8 Flange bolts and hand thread them into the other Seat Jacker shim using Blue Loctite. You will want to get these snug, then set the seat leg back down to line the holes up. Once you have them lined up, go ahead and torque the bolts to 27ft-lbs. (Reference pictures below).
Step Four: Next, set the seat back down. With Blue Loctite, take the M10 x 20mm Cap Head bolt and washer then attach your seat leg to the Seat Jacker. Hand thread to start to avoid cross threading, then torque these bolts to 30ft-lbs. *IMPORTANT – IF THE SEAT RAIL HOLES DO NOT LINE UP, LIFT UP THE SEAT ABOUT 1/4 INCHES AND THREAD IN THE BOLT A COUPLE OF THREADS. IF NEEDED ADJUST THE SEAT RAILS ONE AT A TIME TO GET EVERYTHING TO LINE UP AND CONFIRM REAR SEAT BOLTS ARE LOOSE ENOUGH.
Step Five: Reinstall any plastic trim pieces that were removed in Step One.
- Check bolt torque at regular intervals and don’t forget to post a review. -
