Tired of not fitting in your new Jeep and hitting your head on the sound bar? Seat Slammers are the cure. The Seat Slammers will slam the rear of your driver or passenger seat by .5 inch to 2 inches. These will drop the rear only, the front of the seat will remain the same or be lifted by up to .75 inches.
Seat Slammers will stop you from hitting your head on the sound bar, provide a better view of stoplights and a clear view of your instrument cluster.
Seat Slammers are made out of US sourced billet aluminum and will work on your Jeep Wrangler JL, JLU, and Jeep Gladiator. All factory seat adjustments remain 100% functional.
A few things to get out of the way:
OPTION 1 KIT: This kit is user adjustable in .25" increments from .5" to 1.5" of rear drop. In order to drop the rear of the seat by 1.5", it is recommended the front of the seat is lifted by .25". All required parts are included in this kit.
OPTION 2 KIT: This is the ultimate kit and user adjustable in .25" increments from .5" to 2" of rear drop. In order to drop the rear of the seat by 2," it is recommended the front of the seat is lifted by .75". All required parts are included in this kit.
Both kits will require the rear legs of your front seat to be cut. Since the rear seat legs will need to be cut, we recommend both kits be installed by a professional.
Each kit is for one seat only, if you want to slam the driver and passenger seat, you will need two kits. Passenger side will require ground stud to be relocated or "massaged" out of the way.

This product fits:
Long plagued with lack of leg room or adjustability due to my height, these saved my new gladiator. When test driving I was optimistic and after a few days of ownership was becoming concerned I had made a mistake. The seating angles felt terrible. I felt as if I was on a park bench. Completely flat and like I could even slide off.
My head was so close to the sound bar that I had to move the seat too far forward. This caused my legs to be cramped under steering wheel. This strained my knees and caused knee pain. Chain effect.
Researched these and installed. Best decision ever. I feel normal human sized in my gladiator now and have plenty of leg and head room. Seats feel more sporty as I did the full lift in front and full drop in back. Would recommend 100x
If you have basic tool skills then these are a must. The instructions aren't great but YouTube will get you through it no problem.
I bought my brand new Gladiator and purchased this the first week. I must say I was very hesitant about cutting the rear seat mounts off on a brand new vehicle. I took a chance and did it anyways and I’m so glad I did. It makes the seat much more comfortable. I’m 6’3” and although I could fit in my Gladiator, I have so much more room now and the seat is a lot more comfortable. It’s a must for taller people.
Just picked up my brand new JL UNLIMITED RUBICON ECO DIESEL and the first thing I did was SEAT SLAMMERS OPTION 2 for my drivers seat when I got home from the long drive from the out of state dealer. The whole drive home my head was hitting the sound bar, not anymore. Most comfortable seat I have ever sat in now in any vehicle.
I wanted to wait a few days before I wrote this review because I was worried cutting the seat rails was a huge **** up on a brand new vehicle purchase. I’m 6’9 -285lbs 37” inseam athletic build. I had the intention of installing the 2” drop seat slammer with the misch big boy seat extenders but to my resolve it didn’t happen. From my experience without refabbing the existing mock up it won’t just bolt together because the jackers don’t stack high enough on the right side extender to marry the seat rail. This doesn’t mean it can’t happen, hopefully there’s someone out there who can direct me to a mechanic with more time than I have.
With that said the 2” drop with the .75” front seat jackers has given me perfect seating position and ample headroom driving down the road. I wanted to add the misch big boy extenders with the 2” drop so I could stretch all the way out and my head not hit the sound bar. Now I’m just in a normal comfortable bucket seating position and my head doesn’t hit the sound bar and my knees aren’t in the dashboard give or take 5” of knee clearance. I sit with the seat reclined back regardless just based on my size with the steering wheel pulled out all the way and I have no complaints on a 6 hour round trip drive. I’m in the vehicle a lot on job locations being a crane operator and comfort is key. If you want a comfortable seat setup and are very tall and need to be in the Jeep for 24hrs at a time this is still an ideal route without the misch big boy extenders. For my build, the misch extenders alone won’t get your head out of the sound bar. You have to have the drop in order to get leg room and head room bottom line. I can wear size 15 lace up wedge sole boots and be just as comfortable as being in a 2021 GMC Denali crew cab as I am in the Rubicon with the seat slammers.
If you have a pair of vans, wear those on your long drives or off-roading, this will give you another 3-5” of leg room on cruise control with your feet under the pedals. Either way you look at it you can’t go wrong with the addition of just the 2” seat slammers. With the seat slammers you can still move the seat forward, still be comfortable with a passenger behind you. Hopefully whoever is sitting behind you isn’t 6’9.
