FRONT MULTI MOUNT PANEL (2015-2024 FORD F150, 2018-2024 FORD EXPEDITION) MMP

I had 2 issues with my multi mount panel during install which is why I marked it down 2 stars.
First, the post that mounts to the floor on the side closest to the door was making hard contact with the plastic seat track shroud. The other side had plenty of room to spare but this side needed two washers just to barely clear. I had to stop the install and drive the wife’s car to the hardware store just to buy washers to finish installing this post correctly.
Secondly, the posts don’t meet the face of the multi mount panel squarely. They have to be angled “toe in” so to speak so that they can line up with the holes on the MMP. This results in a slight bowing of the MMP once you tighten the hardware down.
Speaking of hardware, the flush head Allen bolts that mount the posts to the floor, and hold the seat itself to the body, only seemed to grab by a few threads. They do not have near the same amount of engagement that the stock bolts had.
I don’t foresee any of these issues causing problems with functionality I just feel at this price point, these products should fit correctly and securely like factory parts and not require a trip to the hardware store to complete installation.

Well built product and it does exactly what I wanted it for (mounting a fire extinguisher and IFAK within reach).
Suggested improvement is to include an Allen key and a single use tube of loctite. The instructions called for a 5mm Allen key, but the hex head bolt was larger than 5mm. My set of hex keys does not have one larger than a 5mm. Luckily I had a Torx driver that worked. Great product overall, though.

I cannot speak highly enough of this product. It was the perfect solution to my problem. I needed to mount two iCom radio speakers somewhere inside my 2023 Ford Raptor, but wanted a sturdy, non-intrusive install. These seat brackets were perfect. I got some hardware from my local Home Depot, and fit the speakers to the backside of the bracket under the seat, and it works perfect. Shipping was insanely fast, packaging was great, and they even give you nice high quality stickers with your order. Great product, if you're on the fence about getting anything from Desert.does.it, don't... They have my business for life.

If you want a mounting platform that looks like it belongs there, this is the way. Great fit & finish, customer service and quick shipping.

Really easy to install and added a level of comfort to the already nice Platinum seating.
