She had failed to inform me she had put the packet on top of the Refrigerator days ago while cleaning the kitchen counter!!! Ugggggg!!! I am so sorry! I installed them this morning. Have to agree with other reviews- these are just barely strong enough to hold a knife- questionable if they would even work on a small frame firearm
These small magnets are super strong and for me have kept my knife in a safe position and accessible

Could be better. Magnet strength not great but could be expected do to the size. What’s worse is the bolts are very easy to strip. Questionable to buy again.
Good Quality and strong
These little guys are made fairly well and are covered with a heavy rubber coating. Two of them hold a glock perfectly and will not scuff your baby. I am going to order several more for other applications.

So far every item I have bought from Desert Does It has been beyond my expectations the magnets are made with real quality like all of there parts its nice to see a American company that is doing such nice work you have a customer for life keep up the 5 star work brother.
The MMT is a solid piece of engineering. The hardware that it comes with is monstrous compared to OEM. I definitely have piece of mind that my seat is secure. The product itself is amazing. I’m able to mount a belt cutter/window breaker, tourniquet, multi tool and a handheld GMRS radio with a little room for something else. I recommend to anyone DDI makes a mount for.
The **** nut in the back of the magnet sticks out about a 1/16 of an inche. This results in only two spots that you can put it in the below seat Molle panel without modifying the pamel. I would need to drill out the opening, ruining the powder coat for the magnet to lay flat. I wanted to use it for a knife and a fire extinguisher but I have decided what to do yet.
I added these to my MMP order thinking it might be handy. The magnets are not very strong, so I don't know what I would attach to them that could actually stay put.
I really wanted to like these but they were extremely weak and hardly hold a pocket knife.
I wouldn’t use magnetic mounts for anything that you wouldn’t want it to attract iron particles into it. A gun for example.

Clever concept and ease of installation. Not strong enough to hold a large flashlight or anything else I had planned on using them for.
Rubber coated magnetic plates are key for sticking things to the under seat rack.

The H&K 45 is a full size service pistol. I had my doubts but the bolt magnets hold the H-K in place all day. Through bumps, quick turns, hard braking and acceleration I have no doubt that the back up H&K is in place and ready to go heled in place by these MMP magnets.
I will be looking into putting the same setup on the passenger side.
Mmp magnets are sturdy and great quality the RECTANGLE one is my favorite and holds items very well
I got one of each and added to the inside of the MMP. There is a handy space behind the MMP that allows multiple knives and multi tools to be attached using these magnets - all within easy reach. I found the magnets have plenty of strength to hold items secure over rough trails and bumps. I found the round offers slightly more mounting options, the square is lower profile on the mount
I was wanting to hang a few items in my van without drills. They work great.
I attached one of the magnets to the MMP and put the other in my IFAK to act as a quick release mechanism. Keeps the pack firmly in place but easily removable from between my feet
Work great to hold Element fire extinguisher in place under seat on MMP panel.
