I have a 22 Silverado 2500 LTZ work truck and I have been complaining about how terrible the seats are. My personal truck is a 24 Ram 2500 and the seats are so much better but I couldn’t figure out why until I realized I think it’s due to the front of the seat being much higher than this Silverado and actually supports your legs. I came across Desert does it on instagram and gave it a shot. Unfortunately, the bolts that came with this seat riser blocks weren’t the same thread as the factory bolts. The stock bolts would only hold one of the blocks so I tried that. It was good, but I ended up going to Home Depot to get longer bolts so I could stack the two blocks for maximum lift. The seat is now PERFECT . FYI the bolt size that worked for 22 Silverado is M10-1.5 x 50mm
Works as advertised. 2500 HD seats are much more comfortable for long drives now
Seats are way more comfortable in my opinion and really simple to install
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but after having my 24 Silverado 2500 for about a year, my biggest complaint was front seat comfort, especially after a couple of hours of driving. I'm 6' 190, and never felt like my hips and back were supported the way that my '11 Ram or 04 GMC used to. Then I bit the bullet on the seat jackers. 10 minutes, and I love my truck again. Yeah, theyre a little pricy, but frankly, messing with the bolts that hold your driver's seat down, isnt the place to go cheap. These are worth every penny, are adjustable to your tastes, and make all the difference in the world. Only regret is not getting them for the truck sooner.
Levelers work perfectly only problem is there is a large gap in the seat trim. Would love if they offered an extension to cover gap. Unfortunately it’s to unsightly to leave so had to return the product.
