FRONT SEAT JACKERS® (2013-2023 SUBARU FORESTER, OUTBACK, IMPREZA, WRX, CROSSTREK, ASCENT)

I added this to my Forrester and it dramatically improves the comfort of the seat for my 6‘3“ daughter and makes it drivable for me at 6’9”.

The install was a little bit more difficult than my F150 because you have to tighten the block down first before you can insert the **** that tightens the seat down. That alignment maybe took me five extra minutes. My daughter stated that her feet don’t go numb while driving anymore, which is a vast improvement.

Bought a set of seat jackets for my 2015 Subaru Forester because I suffer from chronic lower back pain. I have driven in other cars with more supportive seats and noticed the (significant) difference, so I thought these might be worth a shot, because the alternatives like buying a car or upgrading the drivers seat are much more expensive. I love long road trips, but now my back is so bad I can’t really do them. But sometimes I still need to drive an hour or more and I needed a solution. Honestly, it took me a few months to make the decision, because these are not cheap either. But I’m glad I did. As a fair weather mechanic, these were very easy to install. Then do the job perfectly I think. I was worried they wouldn’t add the right ‘tilt’ to the seat, since they’re not adjustable, but they’re just perfect, at least for me. I’m 5’ 9” and 180lbs with a medium build. I am definitely more supported, more comfortable, and feel safer and more sunken into the seat. So my thighs and upper back are taking more weight off my lower back. It worked for me. I hope it works for you, too.

After having lower back pain and insufficient leg support on long drive, I tried numerous products like seat cushions , seat wedges, etc but none of these items alleviate my symptoms. A friend mentioned that he saw seat jackets effectively used on by some users on Toyota forums.
Found a model made for my Subaru Forester. This well made product does provide additional support for my legs but I wish an adjustable seat jacker model is available for my SUV as both my spouse and I share our vehicle. My spouse (at 5ft) found the adjusted seat is too high for her feet to reach the pedals comfortable even with trying to move the driver seat forward or backward numerous times. I (at 6 ft), on the other hand, found the seat jacket as advertised; however, we feel an adjustable model (as available for manufacturers) would be an ideal fit and compromise for our dual driver car.

I’m 6 foot 2 and these made the Subaru comfortable for me!
