Description

Seat Jackers™ – Comfort. Control. The Way It Should Be.

Stock seats don’t fit everyone the same way. If your ride leaves you feeling stiff, cramped, or just off, Seat Jackers™ fix that.

Made in the USA from premium materials, these seat spacers let you fine-tune your driving position by lifting the front of your seat. The result? Better support, more comfort, and a seat that feels built just for you.

No complicated installs. No gimmicks. Just a smarter way to make your seat work for you.

👉 Dial in your perfect ride. Upgrade with Seat Jackers™ today.

The Adjustable Front Seat Jackers will lift the front of your Ford Explorer front seats. The DDI kit is user adjustable in 3/8 inch increments and will lift the front of your Driver or Passenger seat from 3/8 inch to 3/4 inch. These will help you find that reclined seating position that just isn't available in a stock Explorer.

Each Seat Jacker is CNC milled from billet aluminum with a 1.5 degree slope to ensure your seat remains planted and provide the perfect mounting surface. The Seat Jackers come with threaded holes and hardware so that your spacers will never slip or get out of whack.

    FAQs

    FAQs

What are seat risers or Seat Jackers?

Seat risers or Seat Jackers are accessories that lift and add height to vehicle seats to provide greater comfort and support. They slide under the legs of a seat to raise it higher off the floor.

What are the benefits of seat risers or Seat Jackers?

Benefits include enhanced posture, reduced lower back pain, improved leg circulation, easier entry/exit of the vehicle, and better line of sight while driving.

How much height do seat risers or Seat Jackers add?

Most seat risers add .3 to 1.25 inches of extra height.

What vehicles are compatible with seat risers or Seat Jackers?

Seat Jackers are available for most mainstream truck and car makes and models. Desert Does It offers seat risers specifically designed to fit popular vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Subaru and more.

How do you install seat risers or Seat Jackers?

Seat Jackers bolt in between the factory seat mounts and the vehicle floor. No drilling or modifications required. Simple hand tools and easy instructions included. Most installations take 10 minutes or less.

    Are seat risers safe?

When properly installed, our Seat Jackers are completely safe. Seat Jackers have been engineered to meet or exceed the factory bolted connection and include factory grade hardware. Our Seat Jackers have been tested by an indepentant third party lab and have passed applicable test as requried by DOT/NHSTA FMVSS 207 Standards.

What are the holes in the front of the Front Seat Jacker?

Some of our Seat Jackers allow the mounting of a Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) to the front of the block, if this is the case, there will be threaded holes to accommodate the molle panel. Not all Seat Jackers have this option.

    Problem Solved

I am about 6'2", and I have two Explorers that are identical, except one has cloth seats and one leather. The cloth seats seem comfortable and hold me in place. On the leather seats, I have a tendency to slide forward upon stopping or even drift forward on longer trips. I installed the seat jackers, solved the problem, and created a more comfortable seating position. I did need to make a slight adjustment with a Dremel tool to the seat bracket for the bolt to line up.

Huge Different in Comfort...Got the Seat Where I Always Wanted it to Be!

I installed the seat jackers in a 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility. I used both pieces on each side, that gave me position I was after.

Installation was simple and quick. My only caveat would be that my seats are bolted the front and have no locating pin, and was suggested in the instructions.

I have other vehicles where the seat bottom is simply too low in the front. I don't see a listing for these vehicles...or I'd be ordering for those, too.

    Great Product!

I’m 6’6” and have owned a few Ford Explorers. The 2017 and 2018 Explorers seats do not tilt back far enough as my 2013. Ordered and installed exactly how instructions stated. Very happy with just using one set of the Jackers instead of stacking as I thought I would need. I read on another post where someone said “you’re paying for glorified expensive washers”. Your response was funny but accurate in stating the R & D / Engineering etc….. What people need to understand is “just using washers from a hardware store” does not qualify as professionally engineered and accurate. I’ve not seen anyone at a hardware store with calipers and torque specs trying to get their washers perfect. It is always nice knowing that your power or manual seat rails are still level throughout the travel and will not bind. Maybe I went a little too far in this review? As in life “You get what you pay for”. Thanks again for a great and necessary option to make your auto seating comfortable!!

I need to raise the whole seat up from the original position, both front and back. What kit does both?

    Desert Does It

I would unbolt the rear of the seat and see if you have guide pins that go into the floor. If you don't then you should be able to use two sets of these. One for the front and one for the rear. If you do have a guide pin in the rear, check out our Ford Rear Seat Jackers as I believe those would work for the rear of your seat as well.

I want to raise the front driver seat in our 2026 ford explorer, do you have a kit that will work with raising the seat evenly up an 1 or more. it has electric adjustment

    Desert Does It

I emailed you a link to our Ford Booster Bundle which I believe will fit the Explorer as well. You're welcome to give those a shot and if you run into any issues, let us know and we'll get you taken care of.
