Installation Instructions

Important Note

Prior to beginning this or any installation, read these instructions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate whether you are experienced and capable of personally performing these modifications.

Step 1 — Remove Trim

  1. When applicable, remove the trim pieces at the seat base.

Step 2 — Remove the Factory Bolts

  1. Remove both front factory seat base bolts using a 14mm wrench/socket.

Step 3 — Loosely Install the Panel

  1. Using the supplied 16mm stainless steel hardware, loosely mount the panel to the MMP brackets.

Step 4 — Install the MMP Brackets

  1. Apply Blue Loctite to the two new flange bolts.
  2. Thread the flange bolts through each MMP Bracket and into the seat base.
  3. Hand-tighten only at this time.

Step 5 — Align and Torque

  1. Align the panel.
  2. Torque the flange bolts to 27ft-lbs.
  3. Torque the two stainless steel flathead bolts to 15ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all hardware is properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the MMP brackets are securely mounted to the seat base.
• Confirm the panel is properly aligned and secure.
