Installation Instructions

Seat Jackers Installation Instructions

Before You Start

  • A helper is recommended for lifting the seat.
  • Remove any plastic trim pieces as needed during installation.

IMPORTANT:
To prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and ensure they thread smoothly before tightening.

Seat Jacker Orientation:
Seat Jackers are tapered. The thicker side must face forward.

Rear Installation:
The same installation steps apply to the rear seat mounting points, but the process is reversed.

Multi Mount Panel (MMP) Installation:
If installing the Multi Mount Panel, it attaches to the Seat Jacker shim with the threaded holes. Slide the Seat Jackers forward so the seat guide pins sit into the notched cutout of the Seat Jacker. Reference the installation photo below.

Step 1 – Remove Front Seat Bolts

  • Remove any plastic trim pieces at the base of the seat (if equipped).
  • Remove both front factory seat bolts.
  • Loosen the rear seat bolts but do not remove them.

Step 2 – Lift the Seat

  • Lift the front of the seat by pushing back on the headrest.
  • Or have a helper gently pull upward from the rear seat area.

Step 3 – Install Seat Jacker Shims

½" Lift – One Seat Jacker Shim

  • Use the top Seat Jacker shim with the threaded hole and “Seat Jackers” engraving.
  • Place the shim under each front seat rail, between the rail and the carpet.
  • The threaded hole on the front of the Seat Jacker is used for the optional Multi Mount Panel.
  • Make sure the thicker end faces forward.

1" Lift – Two Seat Jacker Shims

  • Stack both Seat Jacker shims together.
  • The shim engraved “Seat Jackers” installs on top.
  • The notched sections are designed to nest together.
  • Place the Seat Jacker stack under each front seat rail, between the rail and the carpet.
  • Make sure the thicker end faces forward.

Step 4 – Install Seat Bolts

  • Install the provided 50mm button head bolts through:
    • The seat rail
    • The Seat Jackers
    • Into the vehicle floor
  • This bolt is used for both the ½" and 1" lift configurations.
  • Start bolts by hand before tightening.

IMPORTANT ALIGNMENT TIP

If the seat rail holes do not line up:

  • Lift the seat approximately ¼ inch
  • Start the bolt a few threads
  • Adjust the seat rails one at a time until aligned
  • Confirm rear seat bolts are loose enough to allow movement

Step 5 – Torque Bolts

  • Torque the front and rear seat bolts to 30 ft-lbs.

Step 6 – Reinstall Trim

  • Reinstall any plastic trim pieces removed during installation.

Final Check

  • Verify all bolts are torqued to spec.
  • Recheck torque after a few days of driving.

You're done. Enjoy the improved seating position.
