Seat Jackers Installation Instructions
Before You Start
- A helper is recommended for easier seat lifting.
- Tools needed: Socket wrench and T50 Torx bit.
IMPORTANT:
To prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and verify they thread smoothly before tightening.
Step 1 – Remove Seat Bolts
- Remove any plastic trim covers at the base of the seat (if equipped).
- Remove both rear factory seat bolts using a T50 Torx bit.
- Loosen the front seat bolts, but do not remove them.
Step 2 – Lift the Seat
- Lift the rear of the seat upward.
- Alternatively, have a helper pull upward on the headrest from the front of the vehicle.
Step 3 – Install Seat Jacker Spacers
- Place the desired number of Seat Jacker spacers under the rear of the seat, between the seat rails and the vehicle floor.
- If using a single Seat Jacker shim, install it with the through-hole side facing down.
Step 4 – Reinstall Front Seat Bolts
- Apply Blue Loctite to the provided 50mm bolts.
- Add the provided washer (if required).
- Attach the front seat legs back to the floor.
IMPORTANT ALIGNMENT TIP:
If the seat rail holes do not line up:
- Lift the seat rail approximately ¼ inch.
- Start the bolt a few threads by hand.
- Adjust the seat rails one at a time until the holes align.
Step 5 – Torque All Bolts
- Torque both the front and rear seat bolts to 30 ft-lbs.
Final Check
- Verify all bolts are properly torqued.
- Check bolt torque periodically after installation.
You're done! Enjoy the improved seating position.
