Installation Instructions

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify all bolts and threads before installation. Take each applicable bolt and thread it into the corresponding hole by hand. Do not force the hardware.

Step 1 — Install the Threaded Spacers

  1. Using your lug wrench, remove one upper lug nut at a time.
  2. Replace the lug nut with one of the provided Threaded Spacers and tighten it securely.
  3. Repeat the process with the second upper lug nut.

Important: There are three lug nuts that secure the spare tire. You will be removing the two upper lug nuts. These lug nuts will not be reused while the panel is installed, but do not throw them away. Store them in a secure location in case you ever remove the panel.

Step 2 — Install the Panel

  1. Using the two provided Stainless Steel Bolts, attach the panel to the Threaded Spacers through the two countersunk holes in the panel.
  2. Tighten both bolts securely.

Panel Orientation: The panel mounts vertically against the tire, with the countersunk holes positioned at the bottom.

Final Check

• Confirm both Threaded Spacers are securely tightened.
• Confirm both Stainless Steel Bolts are securely tightened.
• Confirm the panel is mounted vertically with the countersunk holes at the bottom.
