Seat Jacker Installation Instructions

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify all bolts and threads before installation by threading the applicable bolt into the corresponding hole by hand. Do not force any bolt that does not thread smoothly.

• Step 1 — Remove Trim and Rear Bolts

  1. Remove any plastic trim around the feet of the seat.
  2. Remove both rear factory seat base bolts using a T50 Torx or 14mm socket.
  3. Loosen the two front seat bolts, but do not remove them.

• Step 2 — Lift the Rear of the Seat

  From the back seat, lift the rear of the front seat by either:

  • Pushing forward on the headrest, or
  • Having a helper pull the seat forward from the front.

• Step 3 — Install the Seat Jacker Shims

  1. Place the desired number of Seat Jacker Shims under the rear of the seat.
  2. Position the shims between the seat rails and the vehicle floor.
  3. Make sure the Seat Jackers are properly seated and aligned with the seat rails and floor mounting holes.

• Step 4 — Install the Rear Bolts

  1. Apply Blue Loctite to the provided 60mm bolts.
  2. Add the provided washer, if applicable.
  3. Install the bolts through the rear seat legs and Seat Jackers into the vehicle floor.
  4. Start each bolt by hand to ensure proper alignment and prevent cross-threading.

  IMPORTANT — SEAT RAIL ALIGNMENT
  If the seat rail hole does not line up:

  1. Lift the seat rail approximately 1/4".
  2. Start the bolt by hand and thread it a couple of turns.
  3. If needed, adjust the seat rails one at a time until they are properly aligned.

  Do not force the bolt or cross-thread the hardware.

• Step 5 — Torque the Seat Bolts

  Once all hardware is properly installed and aligned:

  • Torque the two front bolts to 35ft-lbs.
  • Torque the two rear bolts to 35ft-lbs.

Final Check

Before operating the vehicle, verify that:

• All four seat mounting bolts are properly torqued to 35ft-lbs.
• The Seat Jackers are properly seated.
• The seat is securely mounted.
• All bolts thread smoothly and are properly aligned.
