Installation Instructions

General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole.

Step One: Remove trim pieces at the seat base. If desired, use a step bit or 1” hole saw to drill out holes in plastic trim to allow the MMP brackets to go through.
Step Two: Remove both front factory seat base bolts (15mm wrench/socket).
Step Three: With blue Loctite, thread the two new 40mm black flathead bolts through each new MMP Bracket into the seat base. Roughly align so the top threaded portion of the MMP Brackets are at the top/facing up. Hand tighten only.
Step Four: Take the new Panel with the two new 16mm stainless steel flathead bolts and mount the panel to the MMP Brackets. Hand tighten only.
Step Five: Align panel and torque the two black flathead bolts to 25ft-lbs and the two stainless steel flathead bolts to 15ft-lbs.

If you are in pain, DO IT! 2009 Subaru Forester

I tried almost everything else without success, so naturally I had my doubts. My husband even said, "they only boost an inch, how much could that possibly help?" But it really has been a night and day difference like other reviewers have said. I went for an all-day road trip the day after the front jackers were installed, and for the first time in ten years, I did not suffer from debilitating back pain during the trip and for days afterwards. I also noticed that my body is more stable in my stock seat during turns and bumps that were previously felt more sharply right up my spine. I have lots of problems in my SI joints and L4-S1 discs. It feels like the jackers took the pressure off these areas. Since installing them, I haven't experienced the overwhelming radiculopathy while driving that I always used to get after 30+ minutes behind the wheel. I am so grateful for the massive reduction in pain. The quality of life improvement has been priceless for me. I am also happy to see that Desert Does It makes the jackers for lots of makes and models, so I will be covered and be able to get more when I eventually need a new car. Thank you so, so much for this wonderful product! You've been able to solve a pain issue for me that doctors and PTs could not.

Works as advertised. 2500 HD seats are much more comfortable for long drives now
