RAM / Jeep / Dodge Front Seat Jackers® (2019+ RAM 1500 / 2011-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee / 2011+ Dodge Durango) — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, always verify bolts and threads before installation. Thread each applicable bolt into its corresponding hole by hand to ensure proper fit. Do not force.

Step One — Remove Factory Bolts

Remove the plastic trim covering the seat base bolts.

Remove both front factory seat base bolts using an E12 E-Torx. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Important: The factory bolts will be reused in Step Three in the same location.

Step Two — Lift the Front of the Seat

Lift the front of the seat by pushing backward on the headrest, or have a helper sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest toward them.

Step Three — Install the Seat Jackers

Place the Seat Jackers under the front seat mounts with the DDI engraving facing forward.

Apply Blue Loctite to the factory bolts. Thread the factory bolts through the round inset holes in the Seat Jackers and into the vehicle floor.

Torque the bolts to 27 ft-lbs.

IMPORTANT — The factory bolts are used to fasten the Seat Jackers to the vehicle floor.

Step Four — Secure the Seat to the Seat Jackers

Apply Blue Loctite to the provided M10-1.5 x 25mm black flange bolts.

Thread the bolts through the seat rails and into the Seat Jackers. Finger tighten only at this stage.

IMPORTANT — If the seat rail does not line up:
Lift the seat rail approximately 1/4 inch and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails independently to get them properly aligned. Never force or cross-thread the bolts.

Step Five — Torque Seat Bolts

Once everything is properly aligned, torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 27 ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four seat bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are securely fastened to the vehicle floor.
• Verify the seat rails are properly aligned and the seat is secure.
