Nissan Front Seat Jackers (2004-2015 Titan / 2004-2016 Armada) — Install Guide

Important Notes

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify the bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.

Step 1 — Remove Factory Bolts

1. When applicable, remove the bolt trim pieces at the seat base using a pry tool or screwdriver.
2. Remove both front factory seat base bolts.
3. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them. Refer to the Tools Needed section above.

Step 2 — Lift the Front of the Seat

1. Lift the front of the front seat by pushing back on the headrest.
2. Alternatively, have a helper sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest toward them.

Step 3 — Install the Seat Jackers

1. Place the Seat Jackers under the front seat mounts.
2. Apply Blue Loctite to the provided cap head bolts.
3. Use the provided cap head bolts to fasten the Seat Jackers to the vehicle floor.
4. Torque these bolts to 32ft-lbs.

Step 4 — Fasten the Seat to the Seat Jackers

1. Apply Blue Loctite to the provided flange bolts.
2. Use the flange bolts to fasten the seat to the Seat Jackers.
3. Finger-tighten the bolts only.
4. On the Transmission Tunnel Seat Jacker, use the threaded hole nearest the rear of the Seat Jacker.
5. On the Door Side Seat Jacker, use the threaded hole nearest the front of the Seat Jacker.

IMPORTANT — IF THE SEAT RAIL DOES NOT LINE UP:
Lift the seat rail approximately 0.25 inches and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails independently to get them lined up.

Step 5 — Torque the Seat Bolts

1. Torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 32ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four seat bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are securely fastened to the vehicle floor.
• Confirm the correct threaded holes are being used on the Transmission Tunnel and Door Side Seat Jackers.
• Confirm the seat rails are properly aligned.
• Confirm all applicable trim pieces have been reinstalled.
