Multi Mount Panel 1995-2026 Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and verify they thread smoothly into the corresponding hole before tightening.

Step 1 — Remove Seat Mount Bolts

1. When applicable, remove the trim pieces at the seat base.
2. Decide which side of the seat you are mounting the MMP on.
3. Remove the two seat mount bolts on the MMP side using the appropriate E-Torx socket.
4. Loosen the bolts on the opposite side of the seat. These will be removed later to install the shims.

Step 2 — Install MMP Brackets

1. Slide each MMP bracket block under the seat rail so the block portion hangs off the front of the seat.
2. Loosely reinstall the factory bolts through the seat rails and through the MMP brackets.
3. Leave the bolts loose for alignment.

Step 3 — Install Shims

1. With the MMP brackets loosely installed, remove the two bolts on the opposite side of the MMP.
2. Slide one shim under each seat rail.
3. Loosely reinstall the factory bolts through the seat rails and through the shims.

Step 4 — Attach the MMP

1. Using the provided stainless-steel button-head bolts, loosely attach the Multi-Mount Panel to the front of the MMP brackets.
2. Leave the bolts loose enough to allow for final alignment.

Step 5 — Align and Torque

1. Confirm the panel and MMP brackets are properly aligned.
2. Torque all four factory seat bolts to 27ft-lbs.

Step 6 — Secure the Panel

1. Tighten the stainless-steel button-head bolts securing the MMP to the brackets.
2. Reinstall any plastic trim pieces that were removed.

Final Check

• Confirm the MMP brackets and panel are properly aligned.
• Verify all four factory seat bolts are torqued to 27ft-lbs.
• Confirm the stainless-steel button-head bolts are securely tightened.
• Check bolt torque at regular intervals.
