Jeep Front Multi Mount Panel (2018+ Wrangler JL/JLU / 2020+ Gladiator JT) — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.

Step 1 — Remove the Factory Bolts

1. Slide the seat all the way back.
2. Remove both front factory seat base bolts.

Step 2 — Install the Transmission Tunnel MMP Bracket

1. Gently lift the front of the seat approximately 1".
2. Slide the widest MMP Bracket under the seat rail nearest the transmission tunnel.
3. This can be tricky to line up, and you may need to gently depress the carpet to allow the bracket to slide into position.
4. There is an outdent in the seat rail that the bracket will slide under.

Step 3 — Install the Door-Side MMP Bracket

1. Take the remaining MMP Bracket and position it vertically in the seat base bolt pocket nearest the door.

Step 4 — Install the MMP Bracket Bolts

1. Apply Blue Loctite to the two new BLACK socket bolts.
2. Thread the bolts through each MMP Bracket, through the seat rail, and into the threaded holes in the floor.
3. The bolt nearest the transmission tunnel will enter at a slight angle.

IMPORTANT — Start the bolts by hand:
DO NOT USE AN IMPACT OR RATCHET until the bolt has been started by hand. Confirm proper thread engagement and hand-tighten only at this time.

Step 5 — Align the MMP Brackets

1. Roughly align the brackets so the flat face with the threaded holes is facing forward.
2. Use the panel to confirm bracket alignment.
3. Do not install the panel until the bracket nearest the door has been properly positioned and torqued to 35ft-lbs.

Step 6 — Install the MMP Panel

1. Using the two new STAINLESS STEEL button head bolts, mount the panel to the MMP Brackets.
2. The thin part of the panel mounts to the bracket nearest the transmission tunnel.
3. Align the panel.
4. Torque the two BLACK socket bolts to 35ft-lbs.
5. Torque the two STAINLESS STEEL button head bolts to 15ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the MMP brackets are securely mounted.
• Confirm the thin part of the panel is positioned toward the transmission tunnel.
• Confirm the panel is properly aligned and secure.
