INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole.

  1. Step One: Slide the seat all the way back and remove both front factory seat base bolts.
  2. Step Two: Gently lift the front of the seat up 1” to slide the widest MMP Bracket under the seat rail nearest the transmission tunnel. This can be tricky to line up and you may need to depress the carpet to get it to slide in. There is an outdent in the seat rail that the bracket will slide under.
  3. Step Three: Take remaining MMP Bracket and set it vertically in the seat base bolt pocket nearest the door.
  4. Step Four: With blue loctite, thread the two new BLACK socket bolts through each new MMP Bracket through the seat rail and into the threaded hole in the floor. The bolt nearest the transmission tunnel will go in a slight angle. DO NOT USE IMPACT OR RATCHET until the bolt has been started by hand. Confirm proper thread engagement and hand tighten only.
  5. Step Five: Roughly align the brackets so the flat face with the threads is facing forward. With the panel, confirm bracket alignment, do not install panel until the bracket nearest the door is torqued (35ft-lbs).
  6. Step Six: Take the new Panel with the two new STAINLESS STEEL button head bolts and mount the panel to the MMP Brackets. The thin part of the panel is mounted to the bracket nearest the transmission tunnel. Align panel and torque the two BLACK flathead bolts to 35ft-lbs and the two STAINLESS STEEL flathead bolts to 15ft-lbs.
