INEOS GRENADIER FRONT SEAT JACKERS — Install Guide

Important Notes

• To help prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and verify they thread smoothly into the corresponding holes before tightening.
• Seat Jackers are sloped. The larger side must face forward.

Step 1 — Remove Factory Seat Bolts

1. Remove both front factory seat bolts that attach the seat to the seat base.
2. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Step 2 — Lift the Front of the Seat

1. Lift the front of the seat by pushing back on the headrest.
2. Alternatively, have a helper pull upward from the back seat.
3. Place the two 3/16" x 1½" washers under both front seat legs.

Step 3 — Choose Your Lift Height

1/2" Lift — One Seat Jacker Shim

1. Choose the Seat Jacker shim with the threaded hole and "Seat Jackers" engraving.
2. Place one shim under each front seat rail, between the rail and the seat base.
3. Make sure the larger side faces forward.

1" Lift — Two Seat Jacker Shims

1. Stack both Seat Jacker shims together. The shims are notched and will nest together.
2. Place the stacked Seat Jackers between the front seat rail and the vehicle floor.
3. The Seat Jacker with "Seat Jackers" engraved on it should be on top.
4. Make sure the larger side faces forward.

Step 4 — Install Seat Jacker Bolts

1. Take the provided M10 1.5 x 60mm Cap Head Bolts with washers.
2. Thread each bolt through the seat rail, through the Seat Jackers, and into the vehicle floor.
3. Start each bolt by hand and leave them loose for alignment.

IMPORTANT — ALIGNMENT TIP:
If the seat rail holes do not line up:

• Lift the seat approximately ¼ inch.
• Start the bolt a couple of threads by hand.
• If needed, adjust the seat rails one at a time until everything lines up.
• Confirm the rear seat bolts are loose enough to allow the seat to move into alignment.
• Never force or cross-thread the bolts.

Step 5 — Torque All Bolts

1. Torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 30ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four seat bolts are properly torqued.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are seated correctly and the larger side is facing forward.
• Check bolt torque at regular intervals.
