Installation Instructions
Seat Jackers Installation Instructions
Before You Start
- Tools needed: T50 Torx bit or 14mm socket, ratchet
- A helper is recommended for lifting the seat
IMPORTANT:
To prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and ensure they thread smoothly before tightening.
Step 1 – Remove Rear Bolts
- Remove any plastic trim at the base of the seat.
- Remove both rear factory seat bolts (T50 Torx or 14mm Socket).
- Loosen the front seat bolts (do not remove unless needed to move the seat forward).
Step 2 – Lift the Seat
- Lift the rear of the seat by pushing forward on the headrest.
- Or have a helper gently lift or pull the seat backward.
Step 3 – Install Spacers
- Place the desired number of spacers under the rear of the seat.
- Position them between the seat rails and the floor.
Step 4 – Attach Rear Seat Legs
- Install the provided 50mm bolts (with washers if needed) through the seat rails into the floor.
- Start bolts by hand before tightening.
IMPORTANT ALIGNMENT TIP
If the holes do not line up:
- Lift the seat rail approximately ¼ inch
- Start the bolt a few threads
- Adjust seat rails one at a time until aligned
Step 5 – Torque Bolts
- Torque both front and rear seat bolts to 27 ft-lbs.
Final Check
- Verify all bolts are torqued to spec
- Recheck torque after a few days of driving
You're done. Enjoy the improved seating position.
