Seat Jackers Installation Instructions
Before You Start
- Tools needed: T50 Torx bit or 14mm socket, ratchet
- A helper is recommended for lifting the seat
IMPORTANT:
To prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and confirm they thread smoothly before tightening.
Step 1 – Remove Front Bolts
- Remove the front factory seat bolts (T50 Torx or 14mm socket).
- Loosen the rear seat bolts (do not remove unless needed for seat movement).
Step 2 – Lift the Seat
- Lift the front of the seat by pushing back on the headrest.
- Or have a helper gently pull the headrest from the rear seat.
Step 3 – Install Seat Jackers (Base)
- Position each Seat Jacker on the floor under the seat rails with the rounded edge facing forward.
- Apply Blue Loctite to the factory fine-thread bolts or provided 30mm fine-thread bolts.
- Loosely install bolts through the Seat Jackers into the floor.
- If your vehicle uses T50 bolts, reuse the factory hardware.
Step 4 – Align Seat Rails
- Lower the seat so the rails rest on the Seat Jackers.
- Confirm the seat rail holes align with the threaded holes in the Seat Jackers.
- Torque the base (floor) bolts to 27 ft-lbs.
Step 5 – Attach Seat to Seat Jackers
- Apply Blue Loctite to the remaining shorter fine-thread bolts (14mm socket).
- Start bolts by hand through the seat rails into the Seat Jackers.
- Torque to 27 ft-lbs.
IMPORTANT ALIGNMENT TIP
If the seat rail holes do not line up:
- Lift the seat rail approximately ¼ inch
- Start the bolt a few threads
- Adjust the seat rails one at a time until aligned
Step 6 – Torque Rear Bolts
- Torque rear seat bolts to 27 ft-lbs.
Final Check
- Verify all bolts are torqued to spec
- Recheck torque after a few days of driving
You're done. Enjoy the improved seating position.
