SMALLER NOTCHED BLOCK INSTALLS ON THE TRANS TUNNEL SIDE

  • Step One:  When applicable, remove trim pieces at the seat base. In the front, be very careful as the trim tabs can break very easily. You will only need to remove the door side trim.
  • Step Two:  Slide the seat all the way to the front and remove the torx bolt at the rear of each seat rail. Door side is under the carpet..
  • Step Three: The front of the seat hooks in the front so you will need to press forward by the headrest and push backwards at the front of the seat while lifting to unhook the front of the seat. Reference pictures on product listing on DesertDoesIt.com.
  • Step Four:  Have a helper sit in the back and hold the seat so the front mounting hooks are about 6 inches off the floor. Attach the provided Seat Jackers by sliding them onto the front of your seat rail where the existing hooks are located. The hooks on the Seat Jackers will be facing the same way as the factory hooks.
  • Step Five:  Once the Seat Jackers are on, lift and set your seat back into the floor making sure the Seat Jackers hook into the floor and rear seat rail should sit back down in the same location. Using Blue Loctite, torque the factory seat bolts back down to 30 ft-lbs.

Check bolt torque at regular intervals and don’t forget to post a review.
