Seat Jacker Installation Instructions

Important Notes

  • Repeat these steps for both the front and rear of the seat.
  • If installing Seat Jackers on both the front and rear of the seat, the larger side of every Seat Jacker must face forward.
  • Seat Jackers are sloped. The larger side always faces the front of the vehicle.
  • To help prevent cross-threading, verify each bolt and threaded hole before installation by threading the applicable bolt into the corresponding hole by hand.
  • Do not force a bolt if it does not thread smoothly.

Step 1 — Remove the Factory Bolts

  1. Remove both front factory seat bolts that attach the seat to the seat base.
  2. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.
  3. Save the factory nuts. You will reuse them with the provided hardware.

Step 2 — Lift the Seat

Lift the front of the seat by either:

  • Pushing backward on the headrest, or
  • Having a helper pull upward on the seat from the back seat.

Lift the seat enough to access the front mounting points.

Step 3 — Choose Your Lift Height

1/2" Lift — One Seat Jacker Shim

  1. Use the Seat Jacker with the threaded hole and “Seat Jackers” engraving.
  2. Place one Seat Jacker under each front seat rail, between the seat rail and the seat base.
  3. Make sure the larger side of the Seat Jacker faces forward.
  4. The Long Slotted Seat Jacker is for the optional MMP. Do not discard it.

Continue to Step 4.

1" Lift — Two Seat Jacker Shims

  1. Stack the two Seat Jacker shims together. The notches are designed to nest together.
  2. Place the stacked Seat Jackers under each front seat rail, between the seat rail and the seat base.
  3. The Seat Jacker with the threaded hole and “Seat Jackers” engraving must be on top.
  4. Make sure the larger side of the Seat Jacker faces forward.

Continue to Step 4.

Step 4 — Install the Provided Hardware

Using the provided 60mm Allen-head bolt and washer:

  1. Insert the bolt through the seat rail.
  2. Continue through the Seat Jacker(s).
  3. Thread the bolt into the seat base.
  4. Reinstall the factory nut onto the bottom of the bolt.

Start the bolt by hand and make sure it threads smoothly before tightening.

IMPORTANT — SEAT RAIL ALIGNMENT

If the seat rail holes do not line up:

  1. Lift the seat approximately 1/4".
  2. Start the bolt by hand and thread it a couple of turns.
  3. If necessary, adjust the seat rails one at a time until everything lines up.
  4. Confirm that the rear seat bolts are loose enough to allow the seat to move into alignment.

Never force the bolt or cross-thread the hardware.

Once everything is properly aligned, secure the bolts using the factory nuts.

Step 5 — Torque All Seat Bolts

Once the seat is fully aligned and all hardware is properly installed:

  • Torque the two front bolts to 30 ft-lbs.
  • Torque the two rear factory bolts to 30 ft-lbs.

Final Check

Before operating the vehicle, verify that:

  • All four seat mounting bolts are properly torqued.
  • The Seat Jackers are seated correctly.
  • The larger side of the Seat Jackers faces forward.
  • The seat is securely mounted and does not move independently of the vehicle.

- Check bolt torque at regular intervals and don’t forget to post a review.
