INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation Instructions:
General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole. Seat Jackers are sloped so make sure the larger side is facing forward. Also, if installing both front and rear Seat Jackers make sure the larger side is facing forward. Same steps apply for the rears, just reversed.
-
Step One: Remove both front factory bolts that attach the seat to the seat base and loosen the two rear seat bolts but do not remove them. (Save the nut as you will reuse it to attach to the hardware we provide.)
-
Step Two: Lift the front seat by pushing back on the headrest or by asking a helper to pull from the back seat.
-
Step Three: 1/2 Inch Lift/One Seat Jacker Shim - Choose the Seat Jacker with the threaded hole and "Seat Jackers" engraved on it and place it under each front seat rail in between the rail and your seat base. The Long Slotted Seat Jacker is for the optional MMP, do not discard. Move to step four.
-
Step Three: 1 Inch Lift/ Two Seat Jacker Shims - Take both Seat Jacker shims and stack them together. The Shims are notched and will nest together. At the front seat mounting point, place the Seat Jacker stack in between the front seat rail and your carpet. The Seat Jacker with the threaded hole and "Seat Jackers" engraved on it will be on top. Move to step Four.
- Step Four: If using one Seat Jacker shim, use the provided 40mm hex head bolt. If using both Seat Jackers shims, use the provided 60mm hex head bolt. Take the correct hex head bolt and thread it through the seat rail, through the Seat Jackers, and into the floor of the vehicle. *IMPORTANT – IF THE SEAT RAIL HOLES DO NOT LINE UP, LIFT UP THE SEAT ABOUT 1/4 INCHES AND THREAD IN THE BOLT A COUPLE OF THREADS. IF NEEDED ADJUST THE SEAT RAILS ONE AT A TIME TO GET EVERYTHING TO LINE UP AND CONFIRM REAR SEAT BOLTS ARE LOOSE ENOUGH. Secure the bolts using the factory nut.
-
Step Five: Torque two front bolts and two rear bolts to 30 ft-lbs.
- Check bolt torque at regular intervals and don’t forget to post a review. -
