GM MMP Installation Instructions 2007-2014 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 / 2500 / 3500 2007 - 2014 Chevy Suburban / Tahoe — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading, verify all bolts and threads before installation by threading the applicable bolt into the corresponding hole by hand. Do not force any bolt that does not thread smoothly.

• Step 1 — Remove Front Bolt Covers

  1. Slide the seat all the way back.
  2. Remove both bolt trim covers at the front of the seat mount to expose the two factory threaded studs.

• Step 2 — Install the Threaded Standoffs

  1. Inspect the factory threaded studs and make sure they are clean and free of debris or imperfections.
  2. Hand-thread the provided Threaded Standoffs onto each factory stud.
  3. Once the Threaded Standoffs are snug, insert the provided small screwdriver into the hole on the side of each standoff.
  4. Use the screwdriver to snug the Threaded Standoffs securely onto the factory studs.

• Step 3 — Install the Brackets

  1. Place the provided Brackets on top of the installed Threaded Standoffs.
  2. Using the provided M10 Flathead Bolts, loosely attach the Brackets to the Threaded Standoffs.
  3. Do not fully tighten the bolts yet.

• Step 4 — Install the Panel

  1. Position the Panel against the front of the Brackets.
  2. Using the provided M8 Button-Head Bolts, loosely attach the Panel to the Brackets.
  3. Leave the bolts loose enough to allow for final alignment.

• Step 5 — Align and Tighten

  1. Align the Panel and Brackets so everything is properly positioned.
  2. Tighten the M10 Flathead Bolts securing the Brackets.
  3. Tighten the M8 Button-Head Bolts securing the Panel.
  4. Do not overtighten the stainless-steel bolts.

Final Check

Before operating the vehicle, verify that:

• The Threaded Standoffs are securely installed.
• The Brackets are properly aligned and secured.
• The Panel is properly aligned and securely attached.
• All stainless-steel hardware is tight without being overtightened.
