Installation Instructions

Before You Start

  • A helper is recommended for lifting the seat.
  • Remove any plastic trim pieces as needed during installation.

IMPORTANT:
To help prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and make sure they thread smoothly before tightening.

Seat Jacker Orientation:
Seat Jackers are tapered. The thicker side must face forward.

Rear Installation:
The same installation steps apply to the rear seat mounting points, but the process is reversed.

Multi-Mount Panel (MMP) Installation:
If installing the Multi-Mount Panel, it attaches to the Seat Jacker shim with the threaded holes. Slide the Seat Jackers forward so the seat guide pins sit into the notched cutout of the Seat Jacker. Reference the installation photo below.

Step One — Remove Front Seat Bolts

  • Remove any plastic trim pieces at the base of the seat, if equipped.
  • Remove both front factory seat bolts.
  • Loosen the rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Step Two — Lift the Seat

  • Lift the front of the seat by pushing backward on the headrest.
  • Or have a helper gently pull upward from the rear seat area.

Step Three — Install Seat Jacker Shims

½" Lift — One Seat Jacker Shim

  • Use the top Seat Jacker shim with the threaded hole and “Seat Jackers” engraving.
  • Place one shim under each front seat rail, between the rail and the carpet.
  • The threaded hole on the front of the Seat Jacker is used for the optional Multi-Mount Panel.
  • Make sure the thicker end faces forward.

1" Lift — Two Seat Jacker Shims

  • Stack both Seat Jacker shims together.
  • The shim engraved “Seat Jackers” installs on top.
  • The notched sections are designed to nest together.
  • Place the Seat Jacker stack under each front seat rail, between the rail and the carpet.
  • Make sure the thicker end faces forward.

Step Four — Install Seat Bolts

Install the provided 50mm button-head bolts through the following:

  • Seat rail
  • Seat Jacker shim(s)
  • Vehicle floor

The 50mm bolts are used for both the ½" and 1" lift configurations.

Start all bolts by hand before tightening.

IMPORTANT — SEAT RAIL ALIGNMENT

If the seat rail holes do not line up:

  • Lift the seat approximately 1/4 inch.
  • Start the bolt a few threads by hand.
  • Adjust the seat rails one at a time until properly aligned.
  • Confirm the rear seat bolts are loose enough to allow the seat to move.
  • Do not force or cross-thread the bolts.

Step Five — Torque Bolts

Torque the front and rear seat bolts to 30ft-lbs.

Step Six — Reinstall Trim

Reinstall any plastic trim pieces that were removed during installation.

Final Check

• Verify all bolts are properly torqued to specification.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are properly positioned with the thicker side facing forward.
• Confirm the seat is securely mounted.
• Recheck bolt torque after a few days of driving.
