Front Seat Jackers (2023 - 2025 CHEVY COLORADO / GMC CANYON)
Installation Instructions:
General Note: You will reuse the factory rear bolts. Be sure to use Blue Loctite when reinstalling the factory rear bolts. We recommend having a helper with this installation as it requires lifting the seat. Note: If you are installing our optional MMP, it will bolt directly to the front of the seat jackers where the threaded hole in front is located.
- Step One: When applicable, remove trim pieces at the seat base. In the front, be very careful as the trim tabs are fragile.
- Step Two: Slide the seat all the way to the front and loosen the rear (T50 Torx) bolts, but don’t remove them.
- Step Three: Move to the front and slide the seat all the way back. Remove the two front bolts Reference pictures on product listing on DesertDoesIt.com.
- Step Four: Gently push the seat back lifting the front off the floor or have someone pull the seat back from the rear seat. Slide Seat Jackers under the front seat legs, then set the seat back down (for the drivers side, the large block will go on the trans tunnel, smaller block will go on the door side. Passenger side both blocks will be the same). With Blue Loctite and the provided bolt with washer, attach through the seat leg, Seat Jacker and into the floor. Hand thread the bolt to start then torque bolts to 35 ft-lbs.
- Step Five: Slide your seat forward and re-torque rear bolts to 35 ft-lbs.
- Step Six : Sit in your seat and enjoy your new seat comfort.
– Check bolt torque specs at regular intervals and don’t forget to leave a review.
