Important Notes

• Prior to beginning this or any installation, read these instructions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate whether you are experienced and capable of personally performing these modifications.
• To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.

Step 1 — Remove Trim

1. When applicable, remove the trim pieces at the seat base.

Step 2 — Remove the Rear Seat Bolts

1. Remove the two rear seat bolts.
2. Loosen both front factory seat base bolts using a 14mm wrench/socket.

Step 3 — Loosely Install the Panel

1. Using the supplied stainless steel hardware, loosely mount the panel to the MMP brackets.

Step 4 — Install the MMP Brackets

1. Apply Blue Loctite to the two new 30mm black flathead bolts.
2. Thread the bolts through each MMP Bracket and into the seat base.
3. Hand-tighten only at this time.
4. The brackets should face underneath the seat.

Note: If installing Seat Jackers, place the MMP brackets on top of the Seat Jackers before bolting them down.

Step 5 — Align and Torque

1. Align the panel.
2. Torque the two black flathead bolts to 27ft-lbs.
3. Torque the two stainless steel flathead bolts to 15ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the MMP brackets are positioned underneath the seat.
• Confirm the panel is properly aligned and securely mounted.
