Toyota FRONT Seat Jackers 2013 - 2018 RAV4 2001 - 2019 Highlander — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.

Step 1 — Remove Factory Bolts

1. Remove both front factory seat base bolts using a 14mm socket.
2. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Note: The factory M10 fine-thread bolts removed from the front will be reused in Step 4 in the same location.

Step 2 — Lift the Front of the Seat

1. Lift the front of the front seat by pushing back on the headrest.
2. Alternatively, have a helper sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest toward them.

Step 3 — Position the Seat Jackers

1. Place the Seat Jackers under the front seat mounts.

Step 4 — Fasten the Seat Jackers to the Floor

1. Apply Blue Loctite to the factory M10 fine-thread bolts.
2. Use the factory bolts to fasten the Seat Jackers to the floor of the vehicle.
3. Torque the bolts to 27ft-lbs.

IMPORTANT — The factory bolts are used to fasten the Seat Jackers to the floor.

Step 5 — Fasten the Seat to the Seat Jackers

1. Apply Blue Loctite to the provided M10-1.5 x 25mm coarse-thread bolts.
2. Using a 15mm socket, thread the bolts through the seat rails and into the Seat Jackers.
3. Finger-tighten only at this time.

IMPORTANT — If the seat rail does not line up:
Lift the seat rail approximately 0.25 inches and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails independently to get them lined up.

Step 6 — Torque All Seat Bolts

1. Torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 27ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four seat bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are securely fastened to the vehicle floor.
• Confirm the seat rails are properly aligned.
• Verify all bolts were started by hand before tightening.
