Toyota FRONT Seat Jackers 1998 - 2007 Land Cruiser 100 Series — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, always verify bolts and threads before installation. Thread each applicable bolt into its corresponding hole by hand to ensure proper fit. Do not force.

Step One — Remove Factory Bolts

Remove both front factory seat base bolts using a 14mm socket. Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Important: The factory M10 fine-thread bolts will be reused in Step Four in the same location.

Step Two — Lift the Front of the Seat

Lift the front of the seat by pushing backward on the headrest, or have a helper sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest toward them.

Step Three — Position the Seat Jackers

Place the Seat Jackers under the front seat mounts.

Step Four — Secure Seat Jackers to the Floor

Apply Blue Loctite to the factory M10 fine-thread bolts.

Use the factory bolts to fasten the Seat Jackers to the vehicle floor. Torque the bolts to 27 ft-lbs.

IMPORTANT — The factory bolts are used to fasten the Seat Jackers to the floor.

Step Five — Secure the Seat to the Seat Jackers

Apply Blue Loctite to the provided M10-1.5 x 25mm coarse-thread bolts.

Using a 15mm socket, thread the bolts through the seat rails and into the Seat Jackers. Finger tighten only at this stage.

IMPORTANT — If the seat rail does not line up:
Lift the seat rail approximately 1/4 inch and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails independently to get them properly aligned. Never force or cross-thread the bolts.

Step Six — Torque Seat Bolts

Once everything is properly aligned, torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 27 ft-lbs.

Optional MMP: The MMP attaches to the two inside threaded holes. Torque MMP bolts to 15 ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all four seat bolts are properly installed and torqued.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are securely fastened to the vehicle floor.
• Verify the seat rails are properly aligned.
• If installing an MMP, confirm the MMP is securely mounted and torqued to specification.
