IMPORTANT: Prior to beginning this or any installation read these instructions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate if you are experienced and capable to personally perform these modifications.

General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole. If you are installing with Seat Jackers, please reference our Seat Jacker installation instructions. MMP will bolt directly to the front of the Seat Jackers.

If you are installing our new Premium or Utility panel with tabs, you'll remove the front bolts, put the panel in place over the seat legs, then re-attach to the floor. If you're installing the Utility Panel, you will re-use your factory bolts. If you're installing the Premium Panel, You will use the hardware provided in the kit. Reference photo below.

• Utility (Panel Only) You will reuse the factory bolts. If you're installing on a FJ Cruiser it will include spacers and longer bolts
• Premium will include new hardware

MMP Bracket Installation Instructions

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, always verify bolts and threads before installation. Thread each applicable bolt into its corresponding hole by hand to ensure proper fit. Do not force.

Step One — Remove Seat Trim

When applicable, remove the trim pieces around the seat base.

Step Two — Remove Factory Bolts

Remove both front or rear factory seat base bolts using a 14mm wrench or socket.

Step Three — Attach Panel to MMP Brackets

Using the provided 16mm stainless steel hardware, loosely attach the Panel to the MMP Brackets.

FJ Cruiser — Front MMP Only: Install the provided spacer between the MMP Bracket and the seat leg.

Step Four — Install MMP Brackets

Apply Blue Loctite to the two provided 30mm black flathead bolts.

Thread the bolts through the MMP Brackets and into the seat base.

Hand tighten only.

Note: You may need to firmly depress the carpet around the MMP Bracket nearest the transmission tunnel to allow proper access and alignment.

Step Five — Align and Torque

Align the Panel and verify that the brackets are properly positioned.

• Torque the two 30mm black flathead bolts to 27ft-lbs.
• Torque the two 16mm stainless steel flathead bolts to15 ft-lbs.

Note: A ball-end Allen key may be needed to tighten the bolts nearest the transmission tunnel.

Final Check

• Verify the MMP Brackets and Panel are properly aligned.
• Confirm all hardware is secure and torqued to specification.
• Check that the Panel is firmly mounted before use.
