INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Prior to beginning this or any installation read these instructions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate if you are experienced and capable to personally perform these modifications.

General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole.

  1. Step One: When applicable, remove trim pieces at the seat base.
  2. Step Two: Remove both front factory seat base bolts (14mm wrench/socket).
  3. Step Three: With the 16mm stainless steel hardware, loosely mount the panel to the MMP brackets.
*Note: if you are installing on the FJ Cruiser use the provided spacer in between the bracket and seat leg.
  4. Step Four: With blue Loctite, thread the two new 30mm black flathead bolts through each new MMP Bracket into the seat base. Hand tighten only.
*Note: you may need to firmly depress carpet on the bracket nearest the transmission tunnel.
  5. Step Five: Align panel and torque the two black flathead bolts to 27ft-lbs and the two stainless steel flathead bolts to 15ft-lbs.
*Note: ball-end allen key may be needed for bolts nearest the transmission tunnel.
