Toyota Adjustable Seat Jackers (Prius, Venza, Corolla, Camry)
Installation Instructions
Important Notes
- To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.
- Seat Jackers are sloped. Make sure the larger side faces forward.
- If installing both front and rear Seat Jackers, make sure the numbers are facing forward.
- The same steps apply to the rear Seat Jackers, just reversed.
- If installing the optional Multi Mount Panel (MMP), it attaches to the bottom Seat Jacker shim with the threaded holes.
Step 1 — Remove the Factory Bolts
- Remove any plastic trim at the feet of the seat.
- Remove both front factory seat base bolts.
- Loosen the two rear seat bolts, but do not remove them.
Step 2 — Lift the Front of the Seat
- Lift the front of the seat by pushing back on the headrest.
- Alternatively, have a helper pull the headrest from the back seat.
Step 3 — Install the Seat Jacker Shims
1/2" Lift — One Seat Jacker Shim
- Choose the top Seat Jacker with the threaded hole and "Seat Jackers" engraving.
- Place one Seat Jacker under each front seat rail, between the rail and the carpet.
- Make sure the thicker end faces forward.
- The threaded hole at the front of the Seat Jacker is for the optional MMP.
1" Lift — Two Seat Jacker Shims
- Place both Seat Jacker shims together with the one engraved "Seat Jackers" on top.
- The shims are notched and will nest together.
- Place the Seat Jacker stack at the front seat mounting point, between the front seat rail and the carpet.
Step 4 — Install the Seat Jackers
- If using one or two Seat Jackers, use the provided 50mm Cap-head bolt (Bolt works for both options).
- Thread the correct Cap-head bolt through the seat rail, through the Seat Jackers, and into the floor of the vehicle.
IMPORTANT — If the seat rail holes do not line up:
Lift the seat approximately 1/4 inch and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails one at a time until everything lines up. Confirm the rear seat bolts are loose enough to allow adjustment.
Step 5 — Final Torque
- Torque the two front bolts and two rear bolts to 30 ft-lbs.
Step 6 — Reinstall Trim
- Reinstall any plastic trim pieces removed during Step 1.
Final Check
• Verify all four seat bolts are properly installed and torqued to 30 ft-lbs.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are properly seated with the larger side facing forward.
• If installing front and rear Seat Jackers, confirm the numbers are facing forward.
• Confirm the seat is properly aligned and secure.
• If installing the optional MMP, confirm it is attached to the bottom Seat Jacker shim with the threaded holes.
