Installation Instructions
Important Notes
- To help prevent cross-threading, always start bolts by hand and verify they thread smoothly into the corresponding hole.
- Use Blue Loctite on all hardware.
Step 1 — Remove Factory Seat Bolts
- If applicable, remove any plastic trim at the feet of the seat.
- Remove both rear factory seat base bolts using an 18mm socket.
- Loosen the two front seat bolts, but do not remove them.
Step 2 — Lift the Rear of the Seat
- From the back seat, lift the rear of the front seat by pushing forward on the headrest.
- Alternatively, have a helper pull upward from the front of the vehicle.
Step 3 — Install Rear Seat Jacker Spacers
- Place the desired number of spacers under the rear of the seat, between the seat rails and the vehicle floor.
- If installing a 0.5" spacer or 0.75" spacer, reuse the factory bolts.
- If using both spacers together, use the provided 70mm flange bolts and washers.
Step 4 — Install Rear Seat Jacker Bolts
- Thread the two provided bolts through the seat rail, through the Rear Seat Jacker shim(s), and into the vehicle floor.
- Start each bolt by hand, then hand-tighten using a 16mm socket.
IMPORTANT — ALIGNMENT TIP:
If the seat rail holes do not line up:
- Lift the seat rail approximately ¼ inch.
- Start the bolt a couple of threads by hand.
- If needed, adjust the seat rails one at a time until the holes line up.
- Never force or cross-thread the bolts.
Step 5 — Torque All Bolts
- Torque the front seat bolts to 25ft-lbs.
- Torque the rear seat bolts to 75ft-lbs.
Final Check
• Verify all bolts are properly torqued.
• Confirm the Rear Seat Jacker spacers are seated correctly.
• Check bolt torque at regular intervals.
