Installation Instructions:

General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole.

  • Step One:  Remove both front factory seat base bolts and loosen rear seat bolts, rear bolts have a spring cover. (T50 Torx and 13mm).
  • Step Two: Lift the front of the front seat by pushing back on the headrest or by asking a helper to sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest towards them.
  • Step Three:  One shim: If installing one Seat Jacker shim, use the shim with the through holes on it. Two shims: If installing two Seat Jacker shims use one of the shims with an outdent and the one with a through hole.. Three shims: If using all three Seat Jacker shims, the two with outdents will be on the top and bottom.
  • Step Four:  Place the Seat Jackers under the front seat mounts, with Blue Loctite, use the provided M8 Socket Head bolts to fasten the Seat Jackers to the floor of the Vehicle. Torque these two bolts to 25 ft lbs. *IMPORTANT – IF THE SEAT RAIL DOES NOT LINE UP, LIFT UP THE SEAT RAIL .25 INCHES AND THREAD IN THE BOLT A COUPLE OF THREADS. IF NEEDED ADJUST THE SEAT RAILS INDEPENDENTLY TO GET THEM LINED UP.  Note: If using one shim, use the provided 40mm bolt. If using two or more, use the provided 50mm bolt.
