Ford Adjustable Front and/or Rear Seat Jackers — Install Guide

Important Note

To help prevent cross-threading during installation, verify bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them into the corresponding holes by hand. Do not force the bolts.

Repeat these steps if installing Seat Jackers on the front of the seat as well.

Step 1 — Remove the Factory Bolts

1. Remove any plastic trim or covers at the feet of the seat.
2. Remove both rear factory seat base bolts.
3. Loosen the two front seat bolts, but do not remove them.

Step 2 — Lift the Rear of the Seat

1. Lift the rear of the seat by pushing forward on the headrest.
2. Alternatively, have a helper pull upward from the front of the seat.

Step 3 — Select the Seat Jacker Configuration

One Shim — 0.5" Lift

If installing one Seat Jacker shim per leg, use the shim with the through holes.

Two Shims — 1" Lift

If installing two Seat Jacker shims per leg, use one shim with an outdent and one shim with a through hole.

Step 4 — Install the Seat Jackers

1. If using one shim per leg, use the factory bolt to secure the seat.
2. If using both shims, use the provided 60mm Cap Head (Allen Head) bolt.
3. Hand-thread the bolts first to ensure proper alignment. Do not force the bolts.

IMPORTANT — If the seat rail hole does not line up:
Lift the seat rail approximately 0.25 inches and thread the bolt in a couple of turns. If needed, adjust the seat rails one at a time until the holes line up. Do not force or cross-thread the bolts.

Step 5 — Final Torque

1. Torque the front and rear seat bolts to 27ft-lbs.

Final Check

• Verify all seat bolts are properly installed and torqued to27 ft-lbs.
• Confirm the Seat Jackers are seated securely.
• Confirm the seat is properly aligned and secure.
