FCA Seat Jackers - RAM 1500 (2002-2018), RAM 2500/3500 (2002–2024) AND RAM 1500 Classic (2019-2024)
General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole and remember to use Blue Loctite on all hardware.
- Step One: Remove plastic trim from seat base bolts, remove both front factory seat base bolts and loosen the two rear seat bolts but do not remove them.
- Step Two: Lift the front of the front seat by pushing back on the headrest or by asking a helper to sit in the back seat and gently pull the headrest towards them.
- Step Three: With the front of the seat lifted off the front mounting points, take the supplied Black Flathead Cap Screw and bolt the Seat Jackers to the floor of the truck (DDI engraving faces forward). Torque bolts to 25 ft-lbs.
- Step Four: Carefully lower the seat onto the Seat Jackers. The lower holes on the Seat Jackers will provide .75 Inches of lift, the top holes will provide 1.25 Inches of lift. Use the provided Zinc Flange Bolts and Zinc Washers to fasten the seat to the Seat Jackers, finger tight only. *IMPORTANT – IF THE SEAT RAIL DOES NOT LINE UP, LIFT UP THE SEAT RAIL .25 INCHES AND THREAD IN THE BOLT A COUPLE OF THREADS. IF NEEDED ADJUST THE SEAT RAILS INDEPENDENTLY TO GET THEM LINED UP. Also, if you are installing the Seat Jackers and MMP together, you will use the bolts provided with the MMP to attach the Brackets through the seat leg and into the Seat Jacker.
- Step Five: Torque the two Zinc Flange bolts to 25ft-lbs and the rear bolts to 75ft-lbs. Reinstall any removed plastic trim at this point.
- Step Six: Sit down and get comfortable!
