Tired of not fitting in your new Jeep? Seat Slammers are the cure. The Seat Slammers will slam the rear of your driver or passenger seat by .5 inch to 2 inches. These will drop the rear only, the front of the seat will remain the same or be lifted by up to .75 inches.
Seat Slammers are made out of US sourced billet 7075 and will work on your Jeep Wrangler JL, Jeep Wrangler JLU, and Jeep Gladiator. All factory seat adjustments remain 100% functional.
A few things to get out of the way:
OPTION 1 KIT: This kit is user adjustable in .25" increments from .5" to 1.5" of rear drop. In order to drop the rear of the seat by 1.5", it is recommended the front of the seat is lifted by .25". All required parts are included in this kit.
OPTION 2 KIT: This is the ultimate kit and user adjustable in .25" increments from .5" to 2" of rear drop. In order to drop the rear of the seat by 2," it is recommended the front of the seat is lifted by .75". All required parts are included in this kit.
Both kits will require the rear legs of your front seat to be cut. Since the rear seat legs will need to be cut, we recommend both kits be installed by a professional.
Each kit is for one seat only, if you want to slam the driver and passenger seat, you will need two kits. Passenger side will require ground stud to be relocated or "massaged" out of the way.
Any modifications to your vehicle are done at your own risk.

I am 6 foot 2. My gladiator is comfortable with the proper seat angle. Easy install. Very pleased!!!
Haven’t been able to find someone that can help install this for me. Do you have any shops around Bellevue Washington you could recommend “email@example.com”
Please let me know, 6’8” and would rate an easy 5 if it works as advertised
I got option 2 for my gladiator. I love it! little pricey, not too bad to install. Like it so much I ordered one for the passenger seat as well.
DDI totally nailed this kit.... perfectly designed and impeccably engineered. Installation was a breeze with the right tools, thanks to the included cutting/drilling jig. All the parts fit exactly as they should, and the quality of the materials and machining is great.
The ergonomic improvement this kit provides for a tall driver cannot be overstated; it's a total game-changer. I finally feel like I'm sitting "in" the Jeep, rather than "on" it. I'm 6'3", and with the seat adjusted all the way down and angled back how I how I like it, my head would still brush the bottom of the sport bar whenever I shifted my position in the seat. Also, I'd have to duck to see under the rear view mirror when rounding an uphill right-hand corner. But NOW, I have the perfect seating position... a couple inches clear of the sport bar, much better visibility under the rear view mirror, my arms line-up better with the armrests and steering wheel, my legs are at a more comfortable angle with the floor/pedals... an ergonomic improvement in literally every way. (And technically, a center of gravity improvement too, as I just lowered about 210lbs down a couple inches ; ) I can't imagine why Jeep designed the interior to only be comfortable for people up to about 5'9" tall, but thankfully, DDI has fixed that mistake!!
After the install I fit perfectly. I used one 1/2" shim in the rear and one 1/4" shim in the front. It's a much better seating position for me. There is added rake to the seat bottom which supports my thighs much better. The angle between my knees and my ankle is much more comfortable for long distance driving. My heel now lands in a better position to manipulate the pedals.
My headspace went from essentially non-existent to a little less than a fist's width. I now sit under the bar instead of ahead of it. I can see better out the windshield and even at full stretch can't touch the bar with my head. Also, for the first time I feel like I'm sitting in my Jeep rather than atop it.
The installation was tricky for me because I never do stuff like this. Looking back: Unless you love doing stuff like this, take it to a professional. Still, as a total novice the install only took about 3-4 hours. Take your time, have the correct tools and a helper and you should be fine.
